>>76573270Failure is optimal for muscle-growthAntagonistic supersets are some of the best for supersets. Brian Alsruhe likes giant sets but he's nothing special for a strongman.
>>76573910Workouts like this are kinda what I wanna start incorporating into my workout instead of just doing regular strength training. Start pulling one of these kinds of workouts and see how many times I can go through with small rest periods and attempting at least 5 to 8 repetitions with each set of workouts. Obviously still gonna do regular lifting days but just want like one day a week like this Workout 1Push-ups (10-15 reps), Squats (10-15 reps), Kettlebell swings (10-15 reps), (10-15 reps), and Plank (30-60 seconds) Dumbbell Rows (10-15 reps)Workout 2Push-ups (10-15 reps), Squats (10-15 reps), Lunges (10-15 reps per leg), Burpees (10-15 reps), and Plank (30-60 seconds), Dumbbell Rows (10-15)Workout 3Hindu Push-ups (10-15 reps), Squats (10-15 reps) Rear Delt Flys (10-15 reps), Dumbbell Rows (10-15 reps) Workout 4 Burpees (10-15 reps) Kettlebell Swings (10-15 reps) Jump rope (30 seconds to a min and a half) Plank (30-60 seconds)

Irritating and sub-optimal for anything besides a very generalized overall fitness. Good for a babbys first workout where you dont have knowledge or motivation to push yourself to whatever the goal is. Circuit training is always so focused on busywork and its not easy to progressively overload or track progress if youre doing different circuits all the time. I just think theyre annoying.
