Counterfeit protein supplements are a huge market in India. It's an entire country of billions of scammers. There's some chemical that ended up in a lot of the counterfeit whey that caused gyno. Walmart whey brands suffered from it since they import a lot, I think it was BodyFortress that was giving kids gyno here.

Over there they'll straight up put mystery powder in an Optimum Nutrition tub, either they print their own label or refill a used bucket. Research counterfeit whey protein, it's a huge market in foreign countries to the point they have whole forum threads discussing how to get real products because everything in their countries is fake amd poisoning them. It comes into our countries too if you order on scamazon or ebay, really anywhere since it can end up on the shelves of shartmart. The way stores acquire things is they have a buyer that sources products, if the buyer sees it cheaper on Alibaba than on the Optimum website, guess where they get it from? Then it ends up on the shelves of first world countries.
