what are the health implications of drinking a 6 pack of diet sodas per day, or something close to that? the ones i buy usually have acesulfame potassium or aspartame as primary sweeteners. it is pretty common for me to drink 48 ounces (4 cans) throughout a day and maybe 6 if i'm staying up late.i've heard that it can increase inflammation, raise chance of cancer, etc - but i'm hoping the effect would be far lower than if i were drinking actual sodas with corn syrup. any thoughts, any personal experiences?
mainly it gives you a worse gut microbiome than just drinking water or juicebut it's better than drinking 48 oz of regular soda a day

Yeah the effect would be much less than bombing your body with corn syrup/cane sugar like regular sodas. Make sure your stomach feels healthy. Also, having caffeine too late in the day will affect your sleep which is so important for being fit so try to not have them 6 hours before bedtime
