Buy a heavy duty pocket knife. If it attacks you kill it. Sue the owner for any damages. Don’t live life like a scared bitch. Just plan accordingly

Ride outside your neighborhood
I rode to Goodsprings a few days ago, unfortunately Doc Mitchell wasn’t around

That's a nice bike anon. I want to buy a cool road bike too. Life is too short to not ride a bike.

Buy that bike bro even if you think you don't have time to ride. I'm in the same situation too. A life without riding a bike in long trips and big climbs is not worth living

That depends on whether you mean bitten/attacked overall or seriously injured. Here’s the breakdown:

United States:

Around 4.5 million people are bitten by dogs each year (CDC estimate).

Roughly 800,000 of those bites require medical attention.

About 10,000 people require hospitalization annually due to dog bites.

Worldwide:

Estimates are harder, but the World Health Organization (WHO) says tens of millions of people are bitten by dogs every year.

Most cases occur in countries where stray dogs are common, and many bites lead to rabies exposure.
So: millions attacked/bitten, hundreds of thousands to millions needing treatment, and a much smaller fraction leading to death.

You ancestors hunted wild predators for sustinance and you are too cowardly to take your gay little bicycle for a ride down the street because another man is walking a cainine on a leash. Pussy faggot.

Get a sword and practice horseback fighting

If you don't know for a fact that you could kill a pitbull with your bare hands you are low test. You would also get some sweet scars out of it.

you cant kill it without severe injuries. the bleeding will probably kill you

I spent my childhood from ages like 9 to 15 riding my bike 24/7. Once I got one as an adult the nostalgia and the way it brought back my child like sense of exploration and fun was so nice.

Honestly it wasn't even really helpful in terms of weight loss because lets face it, its not hard to out-eat your biking calories but it has been great for my health over all mental and physical.
