Seafood is an amazing source of protein, it doesn't get any leaner than this. Why isn't fit all over it?
>>

Because its smell reminds me of my ex wife
>>

mercury, microplastics, lack of creatine. while it has its own benefits, it's not sustainable to eat seafood everyday. but one can surely indulge on king crab, stone crab, dungeness crab, lobster, oysters, mussels, sashimi, etc once or twice a week. ive seen some builders eating salmon everyday during off season and tilapia during season.
>>
>>76578753
where is the juice of the mussels? why do they pour it on the table? i'd legit just leave if i got my food poured on the table.
>>
>>76578773
>no creatine

Oh? It doesn't have something useless. It does however have Omega-3s which 90% of people need more of to counterbalance Omega-6s.

Fresh Mackeral is delicious

I buy frozen white fish and salty fatty dried hams, I dice the ham and fry it then I chuck in the chopped up fish and let it cook mostly off a low heat and the resicual heat in the pan.
Goes great with some lemon or lime juice squirted on top.

The way this restaurant looks make it seem like its not going to be a proper craw boil type place. Why the fuck are they putting it on the table and not on a plate? They aren't even giving them bibs and gloves
>>
You have to eat tons of it to get any appreciable protein or calories.
>>
>>76578773
You can just say crab, idiot lol
>>
>>76578753
not eating the water bugs
>>

Because its yucky and tastes like the ocean.

>microplastics
>implying land-based foods, both animal and plant, is not riddled with this as well
lmao
>>76578773
>mercury
Not an issue. You are more likely to have adverse effects from drinking too much water (i.e. you won't).
>>76578753
/fit/ is poor and Americans in general are scared of seafood.
>>
>>76578753
seafood is disgusting slop
too much bottomfeeder entrees
>>
>>76578753
>yeah bro go ahead and just spill it all over the table i'll make a mess it's cool

what is wrong with these people
>>

>Americans in general are scared of seafood.
Americans aren't raised on seafood. Only thing americans know are crabs, lobster, and sushi. everything else is exotic and considered an experience/adventure
>>
>>76580261
Not sure if it counts as “sea” food, but you could get fried catfish in gas stations around here. At least in the southeast, as for my experience.
>>
>>76578753
sea food is fairly expensive

fitness is pretty much american culture, and american culture is essentially continental, despite being founded by colonists from an island nation. deep down burgers are still in some dark conifer forest north of the alps, munching on a piece of boar with sauerkraut and blueberries. fish in general is also ridiculously rarely mentioned, imho there is no better food
>>
>>76578796
im gonna eat this thanks for the idea sounds delicious
>>

>too much bottomfeeder entrees
Anything that bottomfeeds or filterfeeds taste like fucking garbage, and that includes all crustaceans.

Hot take: I think people have memed themselves into "liking" seafood simply because it's expensive. Much like how alcohol tastes like shit, but it makes you feel good, so you grin and bear it and eek out the good flavors so that you can enjoy it.
>inb4 hurr you're just a pussy booze tastes great
Okay then order an O'Douls next time you eat out. Booze tastes great even without the alcohol in it right? You should be able to drink it purely for flavor if it tastes so good.

I basically am only eating tilapia and tuna on my cut. I'm a chef so I'm surrounded by food, and aside from salad with chicken when we prep fresh birds I'll just snack on the giant XXXL cocktail shrimp we sell. You can basically eat your fill of most fish and rapidly lose weight if your other calorie sources are in check.

It increases uric acid. Enjoy dying
>>
>>76578753
Our retarded ancestors poisoned the oceans.

Pork and seafood spam = kekke. It generates a lot of (you)s from people arguing.

>creatine
>useless
Wanna know how I know you have tiny wrists?
>>
>>76581352
I got it from reading about what fishermen would do, plenty of salt pork rations then mixed with the fresh fish they caught. I think it's related to chowder.
>>
>>76581687
only if you're eating it with carbs
