What do you call this lift?
>>
the does nothing deluxe
>>
>>76580440
It’s an ego lift but his form is solid. His lower back is engaged, his legs are engaged and he’s rowing with his upper back, but he can’t hold the squeeze at the top of the lift. Maybe he’s trying to break thru a plateau ?
>>
>>76580440
I believe that is commonly referred to as the pendlay row. It primarily engages the lats and the biceps.
His form is excellent. You're not supposed to hold out the squeeze or slowly lower the weight in this movement.
>>
>>76580440
Them bitties SAGGING
>>
>>76580440
Jigglier than my ex's
>>
>>76580440
what a beautiful pair of tiddies, i want him to breastfeed me
>>
>>76580458
>>76580464
Serious question: isn't this weight incredibly low for a guy his size?
>>
>>76580440
>>76580476
>>76580517
>>76580534
What's the reason he has this saggy mass there?
>>
>>76580552
Assuming blue is 45 pounds he rowed 195 pounds for 5 reps which is advanced tier.
>>
>>76580575
I'm 200lbs 20%bf natty and can do 2pl8 for a pretty strict 15 bent over row. NOT Pendlay, weight never touches the ground. Blaha is an embarassing meme.
>>
>>76580575
Nice, then I'm advanced at least in one lift lmao, I lift pretty much the same weight (lbs/kg difference y'know, I should lift a bit less but not much)
>>
>>76580440
Trap rows
>>
>>76580558
He's old + he was fat for a long time
>>
>>76580630
>was
>>
pendlay rows? do you even lift?
>>
>>76580440
If he worked on his posture and mobility he would unironically look better
He has the body of someone who spends 16 hours / day sitting at the computer (which he does)
>>
>>76580440
titty lift
>>
>>76580440
Blaha Blast
>>
>>76580593
Blaha would beat the shit out of you goober
>>
>>76580745
Sure you would, Jason
>>
>>76580440
Snatch & grab's
>>
>>76580440
Is this fag still around
>>
>>76580593
pendlay's are harder since you do them from a dead stop. same reason why dyels can rep out romanian/stiff leg deadlifts easily but an actual deadlift rapes their CNS. to visualize this easier imagine doing bicep curls, if you had to pick up the weight from the ground from a dead stop every time it's going to be way harder to rep out than if you just held onto it like usual.
also 200lbs is what the average american male weighs lmao. i weighed 240lbs as a teenager
>>
>>76580440
Figgy a bitch rows
>>
>>76581116
why were you obese?
>>
>>76580440
Is that my boy Hemingway?!
>>
>>76580440
That gear + body makes him look like a stereotypical fat boomer at a gay fetish sex club
>>
>>76580440
Some kind of weird hybrid between a row and a deadlift and it seems rather dangerous due to the vulnerable back position. Just do controlled stiff legged deadlifts or good mornings instead of this shit lol.
>>
>>76580440
It's like a combination of a terrible row and deadlift.
Like the weight is to heavy for him to do a proper row, so he gets really close to the bar like a deadlift and uses his hams/glutes/lowerback/spinal erectors to help get it up.
>>
>>76580663
My posture and mobility are pure shit and I desperately need help
>>
>>76580440
Its just a bent over row that looks like it needlessly stresses the lower back. Is it safe and effective? Idk. Who cares let him do his thing. I stopped with this "concern" bullshit long ago.
>>
>>76580440
I was expecting this guy to snap his shit up
>>
>>76581116
That's dumb as shit. Deadlifts from the ground are easier than RDLs, they stress your CNS more because the fact that they're easier means you can do like 50% more weight. If I can bent row 2pl8, I can probably Pendlay 265 minimum for as many reps.
>>
>>76580440
The purple headed titty jiggler
>>
>>76580593
Blaha has always been embarassing. Blasts gear to get outlifted by natties. Copes with ''guys I'm REALLY old'' yet there are plenty natty late 40s competitors totalling over 700kg at his weight with the best totalling 800kg+.
>>
>>76581361
You sound like you drive a ford. RDLs are way easier even at the same weight if you're doing both for reps. Getting the bar off the ground is the most taxxing part in deadlifts. I saw some 5'6 spic at my gym doing 3pl8 RDL's for reps and he did them with 0 effort because, again, getting it off the ground from a dead stop is 100x harder than just holding on to it and bending over repeatedly (and he also picked it up off the rack to make it even easier). By your logic doing bicep curls where you set the dumbbells down on a table every time between reps is easier. Doesn't make any fucking sense.
>>
actually what is the point in going heavy if you're just going to leverage momentum and cheat like that? Just lift within your means
>>
>>76581397
>RDLs are way easier even at the same weight if you're doing both for reps.
Tell me you don't lift without telling me you don't lift
>>
his legs are doing the actual lift. his back is doing nothing
>>
>>76580464
>biceps
Nigger what
>>
>>76580440
That's classified. He learned that at the farm.
>>
blaha booba daddy needs milk
>>
>>76581418
By your logic doing squat reps where you rerack it between every rep is going to be easier.
You sound like the retarded manlet spic I was talking about. Enjoy your useless RDLs because you're too pussy to do real deadlifts. Oh wait they are useful at one thing, showing you like to take it up the ass.
>>
>>76580440
fat tittays circus lift
>>
>>76580440
How do you correct the fat tits. He doesn't even look that fat .

>>
>>76580440
Crazy to think NH got HUMBLED by this... thing. Says a lot about society.
>>
>>76580558
Roid cycle was lowered due to heart and artery problems is the main reason people stop roids.
>>
Is it true that deadlifting causes bicep atrophy?
>>
It’s obviously a pendlay row. I don’t understand why would one use a belt with it because the way I understand pendlay rows, they’re supposed to be explosive with a flat back, the belt seems to be making him unable to properly flatten his back.

>lemme ask my own question
I’ve been lifting for 5 years or so, but I have always struggled with BB rows and got my back doing either unilateral/DB rows or other sports. Anytime I starts getting heavier on barbell rows, I find myself hinging my torso upwards like he does in the video. Is it considered wrong form if I’m doing them for strength in a 4-6 rep range? I am a form nazi, especially on lifts I can’t understand fully biomechanically and I’m not sure if hinging my torso upwards invalidates the lift
>inb4 you have to row with perfect form and perfect lat stretch anon otherwise you’ll be raped by the gym Indian poomaxxer
I want advice from guys who row big and well. I have excellent back genetics but I feel that my inability to do proper BB rows has been holding me back my whole life. I mainly do meadow rows, pendlay rows and Kroc/DB rows.
>>
>>76580440
Gym thots getting bold with showing off their titties
>>
>>76580458
His form is not solid
He is unhinging his hips to generate momentum and look like a moron while doing it
THIS IS NOT ANY ROW NOT A PENDLAY EITHER
