Archer here. Recently I learned how to properly draw a bow and I developed a body awareness in my right latissimus. Now I can squeeze it whenever I want and however I want, even while sitting in front of a PC. But the left one I simply cannot, not even for the love of God, it's like it doesn't even exist. I interpreted this as having some relation to nerve activation, and not the strength itself. Is that a real thing and is it important in general working out?

I can flex both independently and dont have do do nearly anything as gay as archery to accomplish that.

mind muscle connection is a real thing that sounds like bullshit

in archery one learns how not to miss a point, which you most obviously did

You gotta do the opposite side and stretch the right side, your shits closed up and not in the same posture for thr mmc to work. Its like teying to flex your chest the same with one arm touching the shoulder.

Archery is based though

it's a real thing but for muscle growth it's overrated. mostly a proprioreception skill, the GTOs and intrafusal fibers get more sensitive after repeated contractions. Lats in general are really tough to develop it for because they're practically unused day to day
