>be me
>grow up playing fighting game videogames
>ask mom to buy me a standing Bob punching bag
>Punch that shit like the videogame characters do. Like Ryu or Terry Bogard.
>do push ups and punch power training thinking of rock lee and dbz
>develop very strong fast punches
>get into muay thai, realize it's for weird lanky long legged dudes
>get into boxing
>I immediately turn into a god
>my arms are fast and strong
>graduate university and get a simple labor job
>be able to pay for boxing coach at a sanctioned gym
>now have a perfect boxer form, and no silly videogame stuff
What now? Do I use boxing as a fitness component of my life to keep me interested in physical activity? Or should I go compete and try to make money from it?

Terry was my inspiration; along side watching Sonny Chiba films, and the Drunken Master every other day. Good for you dude; I box right now as well, and if you’re going enough, go for it. It’s great as a supplemental to daily life, but it’s youth dependent, so go get some fights and see if it’s for you.

Learn MMA. Boxers get kwabbed by wrestlers in real fights.
Im not saying *I* could kwab you. But a good wrestler probably could

I wrestled in highschool and dabbed a bit in BJJ and judo
I never get in real life fights

Boxing is just superior to participate in

Smart

Idk about that. In my experience its the opposite, because to take boxing seriously you WILL get hit hard occasionally, even if you're really good. And regular trauma to the brain literally makes you retarded.
Meanwhile when I do wrestling/grappling you can go pretty much 100% without any brain damage at all.
