leg extension is the one machine dyels, roidtrannies, and everyone in-between love. Besides that, hack squat sleds are a good squat follow-up/alternative. If you're a chick or faggot the hip abductor machine is good for ass aesthetics. Oh also calf raises off of leg press machines are convenient.

All other leg machines are retarded. Yes even leg curls, just do RDLs u gayboy

Squats and other free weight exercises are are my main muscle builders.
Then i use machines to get the last little bit of energy i have left, like ringing out a towel. They allow you to work your legs without worrying about balance etc, which is good when you're already tired out and also the reason you shouldn't use them as a primary builder.
Leg press, abductor/adductor, leg extension, etc I use after the main barbell workout.
Some guys at my gym use them to warm up before barbell stuff, too.

This is the way.

Since I do ULPPL, I have 2 leg days a week, so one day I do squats and good mornings, the other I do deadlifts and hip thrusts, followed by machine work. Leg and calf presses, adductor/abductor machine, curls and extensions. Done in about 70 minutes

I really like the hack squat. I sometimes use the belt squat machine too but only if one of the other stations is occupied. People seem to avoid the belt squat so its usually open.

Honestly, I just do Bulgarian split squats with 80lb dumbbells and adjust my footing depending on which muscle group I want to focus on (Quads/Hamstings&Gluts) and I always stretch between sets.

I never understood the need to lift really heavy shit (300 lbs.+) above you and risk injury or death if something snaps/pops or lose your balance. It just seems retarded. Its always better to hold the weights at your side or below you since you can always just drop them if your having issues or reaching your rep-max. Only thing you have to watch out for is the positioning of your feet.

I use the plate loaded leg press depending on where I'm at with my training, like if I'm going for dead lifts and power clean PRs lately. Otherwise I'll do front squats instead.
