I will do legs if im deep into a shoulder injury, or just enough to stimulate some growth and upregulate test/hgh. Legs definitely takes away from how much protein gets to muscles since if your liver could process that much protein id be making less gains.

I started doing this because my hip started hurting and I cant squat without severe pain any more. The hack squat doesn't hurt and neither does this so I just do those now.

my gym has the nautilus glute drive machine which is universally praised as the best.
i just hate it because its such a waste of time to set up.
first you have to plate load it. then you have to get into the correct position to put on the belt. finally you can start with your warmup.
ok time to put on some more weight.
unbuckle the belt, get up, pick up more plates, put them on, get in position, put on belt.
finally you can start your exercise.

Plate loaded machines in general take to much time to use.
stack loaded machines are better imo
