I thought one of the main benefits of intermittent fasting was you would no longer feel hungry during the time of day you didn't eat. I've been eating my first meal at 1:00pm for the last two weeks, and I still wake up ravenously hungry early in the morning.
>>76587391I mean sounds like you are a pussy. But you get used to being hungry you don't get over it.
>>76587391>no longer feel hungry during the time of day Applies mainly to keto. Your body needs to be adjusted to doing gluconeogenesis, getting energy endogenously instead of exogenously. If you've lived your entire life eating tons of carbs, everyday, then it's possible you never get used to IF.What are you eating?
>>76587391>last two weeksDon't worry anon, you had YEARS of getting used to eating something early in the morning. Your body will now out of habit spike a few hormones that make you hungry and prepare you for food. Now that food isn't coming it screws a bit with your system because you are ready to receive food but not getting it.Give it a bit longer, you and your body will get used to it.
>>76587391I've been forced to intermittently fast due to a shit work schedule and it's actually worked quite well. I'm leaner and don't feel too hungry. Mostly sleeping through the fast phase but don't wake up that hungry. I generally don't get that hungry when I haven't eaten in many hours though. Might be a hormonal thing, you produce a lot of the hunger hormone or maybe aren't eating enough during your meals. I eat very high fat meals whether I'm intermittent fasting or not.
