I haven’t been able to lift the past two weeks because I’ve been super busy with school starting up again, how much should I expect my lifts to have gone down when I go back?
>>76587963My squat suffers the most from extended breaks. More than a week off and it feels like ive lost significant strength. Bench i can go a few weeks without noticeable difference. Deadlift i can literally go 6 months without doing and as long as ive been squatting my numbers dont go down at all
>>76587963>He didn't drop everything to focus on the gymCan't half-ass the fit lifestyle.
>>76587963Afaik 2 weeks off you will lose 0 muscle, might lose strength because of loss of conditioning. actually ive heard 2 weeks is the cutoff, after that you slowly start to lose the actual muscle mass, I think it was mike israel who "told" me this
>>76587963>I haven’t been able to lift the past two weeksBack to square one for you, bucko, sorry
>>76587963I hadn't been able to lift for the last couple of weeks in August. My first day back, I found out I didn't have any strength losses; I could lift the same weights for at least 1 or 2 reps. But my work capacity went down the toilet. Second session back, I got my work capacity back on most but not all lifts.
