I've been lifting for a while so the muscle has been there for some years at this point but losing the excess bodyfat and getting down to 12% (at 5'10, 175 lbs) really did change everything for me. V taper looks better (I have slightly over a 1.62 shoulder to waist ratio now), muscle definition is great, surprised by how much vascularity I was hiding, and the face gains have been top tier. I don't have as much of a receding chin or mid face as I thought, my jawline and cheekbones are sharper, cheeks are slightly hollow, and my eyes look bigger and more alert in a way. I've been getting more mires from neighbors and people around town, definitely feels like women in general are more ok touching me and feeling my arms or shoulders when talking. Even had a couple of women who have partners indicate that they wouldn't mind having me as side dick. Definitely makes me less likely to pursue a relationship now but its nice to know that I'm actually getting that raw desire that I've only ever heard about. That's where it came from, if you're above 20%bf for a large portion (kek) of your life you are invisible, basically not registering as human on people's radars.

Mostly from high school. As an adult you can make new friends at your job, the gym, or through some hobby I guess. Maybe start playing a social sport like golf, tennis, pickleball, or softball, or join a boxing or mma gym. Or idk take a cooking class or a dance class. Or take an ice skating class and eventually join a hockey league.
Making friends as an adult isn't quite as natural and easy as during childhood, but it can be done. The most obvious way is at work but if for some reason you can't do that all I can think of is through some "hobby" or meeting friends of friends (or if you really have no friends, friends of family members) at social gatherings.

One last thought if you really don't have any friends - don't be too clingy especially at first. Most adults aren't looking to make new friends and would for whatever reason might be turned off if they knew you were specifically trying to do that. But that doesn't mean they wouldn't be happy to become your friend naturally.
