Alright, I know some of you fucks must eat cans of tuna purely for the calorie-protein ratio. Whats the easiest, lowest calorie way to make this tolerable?

Get a decent quality can of tuna. Fishwife is pretty solid, just tried it for the first time. It's probably pretty expensive though but I'm not sure, my gf bought it for me
>>
>>76591331
Put it on pizza
>>
stick it up your ass
>>
You unironically will never make it if you can’t eat it straight out the tin
>>
>squeeze out water
>put tuna in bowl
>sprinkle virgin olive oil over it (1-2 teaspoons)
>grind pepper into tuna
>put taco spices into tuna, quite a lot
>sprinkle a little chillipowder on it, but just a little
>>
>>76591331
Mash half an avocado, mix in 1 can of tuna, a little black pepper, squeeze in a little lemon wedge if you want.
>>
>>76591331
I have zero problems with eating raw tuna, you continental people are weird
>>
>>76591368
Nice recipe you got there pablo, but I'm afraid this will give normal people diarrhea
>>
>>76591336
>fishwife
>$56 / pound
>>
>>76591393
I'm Norwegian. No, this won't give you diarrhea at all, you use way less spices here than in many other recipees. Unless you are a lily-livered sọiboy. Taco spices here are mild and you use many times more when you make tacos.
>>
>>76591331
Onion
Celery
Salt
Pepper
Lemon juice
Dill
Cayenne
Optional hard boiled egg
Mayonnaise
>>

put it in your mouth, then swallow it. Salt if you need pizzaz or something.
>>
>>76591331
hot sauce
nutritional yeast
topping for riced vegetable (broccoli, cauliflower)
just eat it ahead of food that you prefer. it's all protein so it'll slow the digestion of carbs. if you stop eating 300g of added sugar every day your palate will adjust and you will appreciate tuna a little more

Drain water, add pickle juice, onions, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes and minced garlic. Or just eat it plain.
>>
>>76591331
I can drain it and eat it no problem, now, sardines on the other hand, i cant stand them at all.
>>
Drain
Chop some onions
Add 3 table spoons of mustard

it's a nice topping on a sammich

>can’t tolerate tuna
It never even began for you anon..
>>
Wtf are you on? Tuna is fucking delicious. Just stir fry some thinly cut onions, a bit of ripe tomato also thinly cut, oregano and drop a drizzle of mustard sauce, it is just perfect.
>>
add ricotta, cottage or quark
and spices
>>
Little mayo, dill, red onion
>>
If you don’t eat it straight out of the can without any “condiments” you’re a fully domesticated goyim relying on flavor molecules to make things taste nice and extra goysloppy for you, as observed with the latinx guy putting taco sauce on his
>>
>>76591331
cooked tuna is too dry to be eaten alone unless you add a fuck ton of mayo or buy one in olive oil for anything edible. the only can tuna that was edible for me was the korean spicy one, which can be eaten straight from the can and goes perfect with instant rice.

i think it's much better to buy raw frozen yellowfin or bigeye tuna and make a poke.
>>
>>76591331
Mustard and tabasco
>>
>>76591331
Tuna onigiri is a god tier snack to carry around
>>
Don't just drain it, squeeze the can top into the tuna to push out all the water. Like press the shit out of it over the sink and wash the can off before you put it in the trash or it will stink and your wife will bitch at you. Then throw in avocado and scallions. Can also add hard boiled eggs if it fits macros.

So I was really looking for something like 'put chutney in it' or 'some asian thing that is really low calorie but has enough flavour and moisture to cut through the tuna'. People are describing fucking 30 minute recipes with 4+ ingredients. I just tip the can into a bowl I never wash and squirt in some condiments, I need the calorically optimal thing to add, not a michelin star recipe.
>>
>>76592435
Deenz literally have 10 TIMES less mercury than tuna. You can eat a can of deenz everyday and you're still better off than the fuck eating one can of tuna a week. You can't even approach dangerous levels of heavy metal consumption with deenz, you can easily with tuna.

Deenz also have much more omega 3.Both are due to deenz being bottom feeders that mostly just eat algae, while tuna is predatory and eats other fish, which means it's getting all their mercury.

Tuna is just a shit fish. Sardines, salmon and atlantic mackarel is all that matters.

Voila. For extra ingredients, I'll usually dice up a little bit of tomato, onion, celery, and carrot to fill it out. I usually use the tuna from Costco, that has the low mercury, but I'm not too picky. Whatever is most cost efficient and nutrient dense.

Buy tuna in olive oil, preferably with tasty garlic, dill, or herbs mixed in. If eating the stuff packed in water (cutting or whatever), douse in hot sauce, grit your teeth, and endure some discomfort like a man. If the worst part of your day is dry tuna you're doing pretty well for yourself.

2-3 cans of tuna in water
Drain well and press out excess moisture then break up the tuna so its not in big chunks
2 eggs lightly beat them in a bowl then add tuna
1/2 finely diced onion
1 clove minced garlic
1/2 cup panko (you can omit this if you want to reduce calories/carbs but it will challenged the structural integrity and crispiness)
add Parmesan or other hard flavorful cheese of your choice (fresh grated is best)
salt and pepper to taste
Form into patties of your desired size using your hands

You can fry them in a pan with a bit of butter/animal fat which is my preferred method or bake them if you want less fat. Absolutely delicious, very little fishy taste, easy to make and they store well. You can also make a simple dipping sauce using mayo, mustard and lemon juice which goes really well with them.

Most cooked fish is dry and pretty bland. You have to use spices and even then texture-wise it'll be too dry for it to taste well.
You can try mixing it with a bit of olive oil and herbs of your choosing (basil, oregano, whatever you like)
But if all you care about is protein I'd avoid tuna at all. It's more cost-effective to drink raw eggs.
>>76591388
Canned tuna is never raw. It has been cooked & sterilized at high temperatures.
Real raw never-frozen tuna is super hard to find, very expensive and goes bad quickly.
