>wake up at 7
>have a small breakfast if I have time for it, most days i skip breakfast and just have coffee
>work for 8 hours, have a small lunch
>get home at 6pm
>am supposed to go the gym for an hour and eat 2500 calories in the span of 4 hours before I have to sleep at 10 and do it all over again

is being /fit/ only an option for NEETs/richfags? should I focus on making more money or getting a better job before I try to get in shape?
>>
>>76594183
>wake up at 05:45
>work 06:30 - 15:00
>go to gym after work and on saturdays
Not that difficult
>>
>>76594183
>wake up at 7:00 and log into work
>eat breakfast in front of pc
>log off at 12:00 and go to the gym
>return at 14:00, log back on and eat lunch in front of pc
>log off at 17:00 with 6 hours of free time left
what is the problem exactly?

Always love these threads. Remind me how good I have it

So glad my workplace has a cafeteria. Should be required everywhere desu.

I wake up early and lift
>>
Here’s what I do as an office wagie:
>Have a light, high-protein breakfast (typically a protein shake/greek yogurt and a banana)
>Have a meal prepped high-protein lunch (or if I go out, I make sure it’s something high protein like chipotle or chick-fil-a)
>Pack a protein shake to drink after work and before my commute home
>Fuel up for my workout with some simple carbs after I get home (small bowl of fruit or something)
>Work out in the evening after work
>Keep my workout split to 3 days/week so that I have time to do other things
>Have dinner right after the workout then a snack around 1-2 hours before bed
>Rinse/repeat

Maintaining your routine and making gains is absolutely possible as an office worker. You just have to fit it in your schedule.
>>
I lift three days a week for 45 minutes don't do cardio and don't track calories. It's easy

I’ve had the mythical $100k+ salaried remote software job that I do basically no real work for, maybe 4 hours a week average, for a couple years now and it gives me time to put 20 hours on the bike per week plus weightlifting and cooking all my own meals. However, I also have no friends or family who would care if I died so if you have even one friend I’d say you’re doing better than me
>>
>>76594183
I work from home, wake up at 7, workout at 7:30, get back around 8:45 and shower up for work at 9.
>>
>>76594204
Same. Feels good to NEET while i can
>>
>>76594261
I'll be your friend and care if you die if you (do the same and) get me a job like yours
>>
>>76594183
Bitch, I wake up at 5, commute to work for 2 fucking hours, work, commute the same 2 fucking hours back home, and still have time for the gym and other hobbies. You just suck at time management.
>>
>>76594183
>be me
>work in a kitchen
>9:30-15:00 and 17:30-23:30
>always workout in the afternoon 5 times a week
On the other hand, I don't do anything else during my free time and have no one in my life, so...
>>
>>76594183
Cry me a river faggot.
>>
I just do what's written in my job description because I'm a real worker and not a thief.
>>
>>76594261
Having people who care if you die is overrated.

OP as you know bodies are made in the kitchen. Swing for the fences on big workouts 3x/week, in the morning or after work. But make sure to eat a high protein breakfast, pack healthy bars and trail mix and other stuff to snack on throughout the day, counting macros etc. for breakfast I usually do premade hard boiled eggs from Costco and maybe pre cooked sausages. RX bars Jacob bars or others for high calorie high quality protein. Bring protein powder in a container. Pack chicken and rice every day. Cook big meals to have dinners ready 3 days in a row.
>>
>>76594183
God I miss law school... I was able to get a great start to my fitness journey spending half a day in the gym and swimming laps. Cute college girls everywhere. Working as an attorney is absolutely demoralizing and my schedule is jammed constantly
>>
>>76594183
I feel u the eating part is the hardest some days I dont even leave the office until 7. The real key is to live with your mother. She cooks and makes me a lunch so I have things like yogurt, cheese and eggs to eat. Then dinner. But really you need to prep some stuff. I like to shred chicken breast and add it to every thing. But I end up eating nothing and quad scooping protein powder...
>>
>>76594402
My guy, I feel you.
I fell for the engineering meme.
Fucking why?
The salary is shit.
>>
>>76594289
I work from home which is the nest step but yeah
>>
>>76594183
>am supposed to go the gym for an hour and eat 2500 calories in the span of 4 hours
What the fuck? You already had breakfast and lunch? Your daily intake is 4000 or something? How fucking fat
>>
I can go to the gym and work 12 hour shifts, what are you even doing? Even assuming a one hour commute each way, that's only 8-6 you're out of the house.
>>
>>76594961
He "works" in an office by sitting on his ass all day.
>>
>>76594367
Huh? I do what’s written in my job description so faggots don’t try to make me do shit that I wasn’t hired to do. In my line of work that can also get you in legal trouble if you don’t stick to what your are paid to do
>>
>>76594261
“Grass is always greener” type nigga

i work out from 10-1030 and eat dinner with my mom

The only option for me is to exercise before I work.
Yes, it fucking sucks, but I won't do it after since that's my relaxation time.
>>
>>76595005
Yes but unironically
>>
>>76594183
>wake up at 6
>quick snack
>read while drinking coffee
>go gym
>shower
>breakfast
>leave for work 8:50
>get home 5:45
>do whatever until 10
>go sleep
I wfh most days now so it’s easier but when I started I was full time in office and this was my schedule. If your gym and/or work is a long commute then that sucks but if they are pretty close it isn’t hard at all.

Why fo you go to bed at 10 when you wake up at 7? You could go to bed at 11 and get 8h of sleep.
Just get a big lunch and do breakfast at work? Are they this strict with time managemant at your work? No desk job where you coukd eat while working?
>>
>>76594183
Assuming you have 2 days off in a week, train both those days and pick one or two days of the week as well.
For example train Tue, Thu, Sat, Sun or Wed, Sat, Sun.
3 days a week full body or upper, lower, full body is fine and you can get strong on that.
You don't need more than 40 min per workout if you are not slacking.

I’m a wagie at a bulge bank working 50 to 60 hours a week. I constantly fantasize about dropping out of society
>>
>>76594183
I do Mentzers routine for hard gainers cause I'm lazy and hate you gym faggots

1 set to failure
>Squats
>Bicep pulldowns

Rest 7+ days

1 set to failure
>Deadlifts
>Dips

I added ruck marching and jogging outside for my cardio, but otherwise you're golden with that
>>
>>76595280
>Spend all weekend sat alone in my home
Okay but that's literally a choice you're continuously making, you could do something else instead. And even if you continue to spend all weekend alone at home you could be doing something fun or interesting instead of just sitting there.
>>
>>76595405
Same but as a zogbot wagie. You realize after a certain point that this is all worthless and most society wants to rot so they complain about the pain instead of doing something about it.

You have no idea the kind of turbo normies that wear the uniform
>>
>>76594183
Buy a weight-gainer supplement and you get 1000 calories in just a milkshake you can drink at work.
>>
>>76594231
Based and same
>>
Waking up early is the most based thing you can do. Going out for a morning walk at 5am while everyone else is asleep and you can enjoy the world before the all retards wake up.
>>
>>76595488
>going out for a morning walk at 5am
nice LARP faggot, you must "work" in an office, I must go out before 5am to make it to my factory shift
>>
>>76595497
I work in a factory we start at 7am, i leave at 6am. Nigger brain.
>>
>>76595501
you must be the manager, that explains why those faggots are always late.
>>
>>76594257
Don't listen to this faggot. You're dealing with power tripping retards and everything is an order meaning obey this dumbass no matter how dangerous or get charged.

Zog pays but it's overrated.
I only recommend it for the White Man in some welfare clerk job because we can't get actual good paying welfare or bennies

working all day from 7a to 7p ain’t no excuse to not prep a big pot of protein slop to bring to work for lunch each day of the week
>>
>Bro just go to bed at like 9pm so you can wake up at 4am
lmao no thanks faggots
>>
the further exercise is away from sleep, the better, my neurologist / sleep specialist told me this, getting up early and working out is the most convenient way to work out when you're a wagie.
>>
>>76595524
They usually tell that to retards with no willpower. I have no problem lifting after my shift.
>>
>>76595525
no, it's about excitation and activation of the sympathetic nervous system and allowing the body to shift to the parasympathetic system for bed

My zog IQ is showing
>>
You have to get more efficient with your time. I work 50-60 hour weeks and have a family but still train, I have a few parts to my routine that make it possible.
>don't go to sleep if there are things to do
>prepare clothes, work items, and workout clothes before bed
>make meals in advance and make them as simple to eat/prepare as possible (hard boil a weeks worth of eggs and peel the night before - eat while driving, blend all fruits and vegetables into smoothies, start dinner in the crockpot before going to work)
>get basic equipment for home workouts (I start each day with a quick circuit of pull ups, ghr, and ab wheel so those are lifts to skip at the gym)
>no caffeine, nicotine, or other stimulants so sleep quality is higher and you can do more with less
>train with high BPM music like eurobeat and denpa to encourage a faster paced workout
>4 exercises maximum at the gym for more sets to save time on setting up equipment, focus on compounds
>cardio is necessary to maintain enough wind for past paced weight workouts
>spend every free moment picturing yourself in a higher paying less stress job
