So i've been working for the past 5 days on location for 12 hour days and last night was the last day and for some reason i couldn't sleep and i slept at 5 in the morning and woke up at 9:40. Should i even bother lifting? I haven't been to the gym since last week and i really wanna break some pr's. Do i just push through or sleep tonight and go tommorow?

Sleep doesn't matter nearly as much as you think it does. Its another kike israel meme. Just lying down and resting is way more important for recovery than sleeping.

We gonna need some sources for this hot take mate, because i feel although functional right now, i also feel not my sharpest.

Go and see how you feel but don’t expect a PR day

Actually i feel i can smash pr's because i have 5 days rest on me (although i did physical work)

I haven't had more than 6 hours sleep in years and it's never been a problem

THANKS BROS WGAMI IM GOING TO THE GYM IM GONNA UPDATE YOU IN AN HOUR WHAT HAPPENED
>>
i've lifted after a shitty night of sleep a few times and never had a problem
>>
Update: almost finished upper body session, I did 1-2 sets per movement and I managed to bench 2pl8 3 reps which is two reps lower than my normal but I’m still strong on accessories and back

Don’t go heavy, don’t do anything require a lot of complex CNS recruitment. Go light and a lot of reps. If you feel something wrong, stop

What faggot advice is this. He had 4 hours sleep he didn't get cancer.
>>
>>76604690
Never lift if you get less than 8 hrs of sleep, it's unhealthy
>>
>>76604690
I did it as a total beginner. I was usually just stagnant or progressing slowly.
Then I stopped being retarded and started taking strength training seriously. You wouldn't believe how much my progress accelerated.

Go ahead and do a set of near-maximal deadlifts with four hours of sleep for me little man.

Ι did bench 2pl8 for 3 reps and it was stresfull but after that i did some machine rows, ohp, biceps and triceps and some rear delts and got the fuck out. I was strong tho

Better to go to the gym and have a bad day than not go at all, and you don't even know for sure it'll be a bad day.
>>
>>76604690
You'll be fine, but if you feel the need to give up early let it happen
>>
>>76604699
fpbp, however, it does eventually catch up to you if the sleep is consistently poor. training > diet > sleep
