I just kinda... stopped doing legs. After a decade of being gaslit into doing squats and deadlifts, dreading it every time, all the stretching and mobility required, all the injuries I just... stopped. I know I know. ughhhhhhhh. I'm sorry. But I'm just not gonna do leg work anymore.

Same here, stopped all leg work and now I'm regretting it. My legs are looking more and more like sticks while my upper body is almost looking like a semi-muscular male human. Might have concentrate on legs for couple of months soon.

You can work on intraspinal muscles/tendons and shit but you gotta go insanely light to do say deficit dls or sprinter stance fromt squats or whatever youre working on. And its easy for foot alignment and overpowered hams/lower back/calves to cause imbalances in hips/knees then you out a ton of load on it and youre way more fucked than shoulders since shoulders youll tear less but if you snap tendons on like biceps/triceps also(2d) it usually causes way worse injuries. Also most people dont practice jumping and have the powerlifter ass.

>>76616544Me too anon. I just do just calves now and no one can tell the difference because if you have muscular calves people don't notice anything else. I do incline walking for cardio and that keeps the upper legs toned and shaped enough that women still like to grab my butt.
Why wouldn't you want an extra 5 - 10 pounds of muscle? Makes cutting so much easier.

yea they kind of suck and I have more difficulty with squat than most lifts. the feeling of strength and muscle growth all down my posterior chain, from my shoulders to my ankles, that I get the following day makes it worth it though. love me lower body DOMS

I also am 31 been working out since I was 13, and ive never had a back problem or pain and likely won't. Nobody cant tell I don't do legs and ive never been to snap city win win.

You want it to be super difficult on core, back squat you basically wanna do high bar for the core gains too, as legs typically need less work especially training vertical ime. If you want bigger legs you can just squat/dl wide stance or narrower and leaned forward for hams/back vs quads/glutes. Im just trying to find some lunge variant hand braced on the wall for quads and vertical, cleans, and the strict squat variants/dls here and there. And ofc atg will help put weight on. I also like jump squats but idk if thats better or just pushing through like a leaned forward leg press or whatever.

Let's be honest... we lift for women. And big legs only attract gays. You just need to do some pull ups, bench press and lateral raises. When you have a girl and you take your shirt off you are already there more muscles are not needed anymore at that point.
