Why does nobody in this board drink tea when its the most based drink?I cut out diet sodas for the last month and am strictly drinking tea and it has removed so much of my anxiety and my heartbeat is normal. I used to have panic attacks and it has made them much easier to avoid.
>>76628008full of fluoride
>>76628008Apparently drinking tea made of actual herbs and plants like anis ginger cardamone etc can greatly improve your body odor Cant attest since i eat tons of eggs and milk so i'll have to cut on eggs first
>>76628008Lipton is shit, nigga, drink Madura. It's grown in Australia and contains no AIDS.
>>76628025You're not fooling me Bruce I've seen Priscilla Queen of the Desert.
>>76628008Drink loose leaf. Teabags contain a shit ton of microplastics, plus loose leaf is generally better quality and cheaper in the long run.I start my morning with oolong I bought from a farmers market in Taiwan and finish with peppermint or some other herbal.
>>76628025I use the loose green tea you can buy in chinatown, I just typed green tea and the pic I used in the OP was the first to show up.I am going to buy and try different teas too now.I tried a hibiscus one a couple days ago and it was great.
>>76628038Not trying to fool anyone, anon. I'm so Australian I poop cubes. You should still drink Madura tea.
>>76628039>oolongwhat does that taste like?
>>76628008tea is for faggots who do yoga
>>76628040>I use the loose green tea you can buy in chinatownYou fucking madman. Why don't you just inject pigeon shit while you're at it.
>>76628051fucking captain joykill over here.I am just excited about tea, man. Back off my dick.
>>76628058Drink tea, anon. It's great. I'm just trying to save you from poisoning and/or toenails steeped in water.
>>76628074what is it with the hateboner towards chinese people lmaooit is hilarious every thread that even slightly mentions them gets at least 2 people seething.
>>76628008>nobodyI mix all kinds of deranged China teas together from ginseng and pomegranate to chamomile and elderberry.>t. read the tea bioactivities literature past just green and EGCG
>>76628008I drink tea because I like the taste, not because it gives me supposed NoFap tier super powers.
>>76628039thisavoid teabags, get high quality loose leaf and have an ounce of care when preparing itgreen tea or white tea is literally nectar when you get it right
>>76628086The same reason I said lipton was shit earlier. A lot of tea is blended crap that even the person who blended it has no idea about. Drink single source tea and enjoy that antioxidant effect, instead of getting a whole bunch more toxins. It's pretty simple. Plus, if you're consuming anything from china, ask yourself; "how many chinamen has the machine that made this chewed up"? There's a very good chance the answer is non-zero. I don't want to drink that, that's even more gross than blended tea. Eww.
>>76628104Anytime I see a big lebowski meme I just get a sudden itch for some white russians.
>>76628008In the morning I usually have/prefer coffee and haven't been able to find a tea in leaf form that doesn't keep me up when I drink it at night, shame cuz decaf coffee makes me feel awful for some reason
>>76628025Imagine staking your ego on the claim that the dry leaves that you consume are better than the dry leaves somebody else consumes.
>>76628045Really>>76628104>The same reason I said lipton was shit earlier. A lot of tea is blended crap that even the person who blended it has no idea about.Do you have any evidence to back up this claim
>>76628132Have you tried herbal teas?
>>76628008As much enamel erosion and staining as coffee but 1/3rd the buzz.
>>76628166Its called basic self care
>>76628164Anon, if a tea doesn't say it's single source, it isn't. It's one reason the Dilmah dude started his own company, because the tea he was growing was being blended with other shit before being sold as lipton, bushells and twinings and as an OCD quality-queen it made him mad. Look here, unilever is the maker of lipton and this is their supply chain: https://assets.unilever.com/files/92ui5egz/production/e1bc24381cb6fc812cb677588f43d99ddb4d846e.pdf/unilever-global-tea-supply-chain.pdfAnd what that doesnt even show is that the stuff in their bags is not even all leaves, it's also "tea dust" left over bits from processing. At least when other anon is buying his chinese market tea he can see it's leaves, even if they're not necessarily all tea leaves.>>76628114Scratch that itch, dude.
>>76628220>Scratch that itch, dude.I wish man but like 300 calories per drink is not worth it
>>76628181I can't do either. Too much expensive dental work to risk with acids or even whiteners. Even with a twice a year cleaning and enamel treatments it's never been enough to stop it entirely.
>>76628008>Why does nobody in this board drink tea when its the most based drink?Because it has caffeine and I feel bad from it.
>>76628008Because it tastes like horseshit steeped in hot water.
Jasmine green tea.
>>76628008I get a tolerance to it very quickly. If I don't have any for a long while that first cup of it is pure glory, but every subsequent cup just nukes my mind into an unbearable fog.
>>76628241You are probably suffering from genetically soft enamel because tea is not a problem in general for teeth.
>>76628550Purely psychosomatic.
>>76628008I drink it everyday after everymeal
>>76628579Probably I didn't have any on my baby teeth and had crowns before I could talk. Still it is what it is
>>76628641Man I'm sorry to hear that.
>mmmmmm ogzalades :))))
>>76628008You should try chamomile too, I had a phase last year when I was drinking that stuff all day long and the constant thoughts stopped and I was very chill.I would add a satchel to the tea
>>76628008Modern tea leaves are sprayed with stupid amounts of pesticide and contain a lot of microplastics and heavy metals, coffee is even worse but tea that you buy in store is by no means good for you
>>76628635Same but also before meals and sometimes instead of a meal>>76629014Its worse for tea bags, Indian and Kenyan tea.Collect and consume puerh.
Green tea vs cocoa drink?
>>76628008gives me headachesalso oxalate heavy
>>76629804What
>>76628623That boy needs therapy
>>76629014>coffee is even worsenigger coffee is not worse. even if they would use pesticides, they take the berry off the seed, which is then roasted. i think filter coffee can literally filter out heavy metals from the watertea is sketchy though, since you use the leaf which is exposed to all kinds of shit while growing. I think it helps to wash the tea by basically steeping it for 30s and discarding the water.
>>76629826this and I swear it has made me irrationally angry a few times. don't know why. i can drink coffee all day somehow though
>>76630862I tried supplementing L-Theanine for a while (component of green tea particularly) and it made me unreasonable angry so I had to stop.
L-theanine doesn't do shit. I have taken absolutely monster doses to see if I could feel it and I felt nothing
>>76630904Maybe for you. But in my case I started getting mad at trivialities, which stopped once I quit taking it.
>>76628008Every day at the office, I drink two cups of green tea and two cups of hibiscus tea for cognitive health. These two types of tea are supposed to reduce one's risk for cognitive decline with age if regularly consumed. I have a genetic risk factor for dementia/alzheimer's, so hopefully 40+ years of tea and healthy lifestyle choices will render me mentally fit in old age.
>>76631104how do you get the boiling water to do it?
>>76631109Offices have kitches, NEET anon.
>>76631109There's a hot water dispenser in the break room, I just fill up my mug and drop a bag in back at my desk. Pretty niceKind of amusing seeing coffee normies spend like 15 minutes dicking around with concocting their shart juice and standing in lines to use their stupid coffee maker
Only Indians drink tea
>>76630866Yeah l theanine supplements cause this in me but never tea i drink tea regulary btw
>>76628088Based
>>76628008I took a few months break without tea.The other day I bought a few boxes of Traditional Medicinals that were on sale.I'm still worried about tea staining my teeth.
>>76630857Tea can also be roasted. Some dan cong/yancha oolongs from the mainland are to die for. They can burn a hole in your bank account, too.
Should you drink tea or no? Final answer
the only time i've tried green tea is the premade lipton jug and it's always chilled. i imagine that shit is nasty as boiling it
I drink mountains of tea and wouldn't have it any other way. Japanese green tea, all sorts of loose China teas, herbal blends, yerba mate, coffee (a tisane), it all has a place. The gulf between teabags and loose leaf is gargantuan, and I highly recommend making the switch just for the sake of better and more interesting flavor, let alone concerns about microplastics or pesticides. Not everyone likes green tea, but other teas are still very good for you; as long as you drink them "plain" you're in for a sizable portion of that benefit.>>76628088any underrated winners you've found, anon? And is true ginseng worth the hype when things like jiaogulan are out there?
>>76633093I noticed you didn't mention any herbal teas. Are you a fan of herbal teas? I personally don't drink any caffeinated teas, but that's okay since there's such a wide variety of herbals to try.
>>76632964yes>>76633093probably chamomile for the high apigenin content, haven't tried jiaogulan yet.
>>76633214I do not like herbal teas because they sell it in teabags. Maybe I could tear it?
>>76633387What are you talking about? They sell loose leaf herbal tea everywhere.
>>76628159He's right about Lipton being shit though. I'm not trying to be a tea snob but their swollen tastes like pencil shavings steeped in warm water.
>>76633388Not everywhere. Maybe in America. I am Slavic.I can only buy loose green tea here.
>>76633762>I can only buy loose green tea here.you can't order other kinds online or find some kind of ethnic market?like my local Burgerstan supermarket chains usually sell a few kinds of green and black plus a few herbals, but the ethnic grocery places sell all kinds of deranged China herbals you can otherwise only find online.
>>76628008I heat up a hot pot of water and dip a BBC in it for a few minutes and then drink that.
>>76633775>you can't order other kinds online or find some kind of ethnic market?I can't order food or tea online because glowniggers could interject and put poison there.>ethnic marketThere are no ethnics here, only slavic people.
Green tea and no sugar, otherwise you a nigger
>>76628019fpbp. When someone pointed this out to me I dropped tea immediately.
>>76628019all of them?
>>76628019This explains why euros are so passive and allowed themselves to be conquered
>>76628132Just do any herbal infusion that doesn't actually include tea or other sources of caffeine.
>>76633214>Are you a fan of herbal teas?Yeah quite a few; in blends I like mint, rooibos, tulsi, hawthorn, nettle, dandelion, lavender...and I'll gongfu brew some others like ironwort, Ivan-chai, and kudingcha.>there's such a wide variety of herbals to tryThe world's your oyster!
>>76636435Nice. I'm a big fan of hibiscus. You ever try it?
>>76630904if you're a heavy coffee drinken and THEN you take l-theanine on top of it it feels like mild benzo. but only because ot counters the coffee jitters
>>76628088What's the preferred concoction of deranged china roots and spices that will give me superhuman strength and cognition?Hibiscus should be good. Chamomille? I read it boosts T
>>76628132they make decaf green teas
>>76628166green tea is basically either slightly neutral to slightly alkaline. If you're concerned about acidity in tea just drink white tea, the least processed and neutral to alkaline
>>76636868>slightly neutralslightly acidic*
>>76636821Adding in some elderberry, ginseng, cherry, and pomegranate is pretty good too.
>>76633775>you can't order other kinds online or find some kind of ethnic market?I can't order food or tea online because glowniggers could interject and put poison there.
