>be me
>lifting for about 2 years now
>noticeable gains in muscle to myself but still dyel
>still skinny fat

i'm 200lbs 6'3. lift 4 times a week for about 1 hour sessions ending in 20 minutes cardio. Eat 1 big meal a day with 2 protein shakes (get around 100g protein minimum per day)

feel like there's something i'm doing wrong bros how did you beat the skinny fat and become noticeably lean/cut
>>
its probably partly because you're 6'3, partly because you're 200lbs, and partly body dysmorphia. but probably mostly because you're 200lbs.
>>
>>76628188
You're just fat. I'm 6'5 and 180lbs and I'm skinnyfat, get to work.
>>
>>76628188
You gotta commit to building muscle, which means eating more. If you had trained hard enough and eaten enough during those 2 years you wouldn't be skinny fat. Maybe you'd be fat, but you'd be muscular fat.

Ok I missed how much OP weighs, yeah he's just fat.

OP here, I was 180-190 for a long time and still in the skinny fat margin. I basically ate like crazy because I was skinny as fuck and combined with lifting but i've kind of plateau'd at this spot
>>
gotta confuse the muscle bro, gotta put in extra work, go that extra mile, hustle here and there
>>
>>76628188
it's not extra work or extra mile like the retard above me..

if you want results, i suggest you hire a PT and learn how to properly target the muscle groups ur lifting with.. or start implementing your own solutions by learning or whatever. every time i go to gym, 9/10 ppl are clueless with what they are doing (pushing pec dec fly with shoulders, pressing with anterior delts, bicep/tricep using shoulders, etc). the same ppl who go to gym for years without much improvement.

>39%

I assume this isn't bf %
>>
>>76628415
nah this is some bullshit. if you're doing the main exercises (i.e. pull ups, bench, ohp, squats, deadlifts) you cant really fuck them up that badly to the point you're not seeing gains. i feel like op must just not be doing enough volume.

lanklets suffer in their own ways it seems

Track your calories you retarded gorilla nigger. You're skinny fat because you eat too much. It's not that complicated. You also won't build up any significant muscle mass without a proper diet, and 100g of protein is not a lot, especially at your size. Then there's also that shitty protein shakes are not a good primary source of protein, whey isn't "complete" - or to be precise, it doesn't contain all amino acids in sufficient quantities to merit being your primary source of protein - they're a decent additional source though.

If you don't want to be skinny fat, cut down to 150 freedom weight units.
If you want to be strong, go for 200g of protein a day with a good mix, not just whey meme shakes, and embrace the fact that you'll go up to 240...and then cut obviously

But obviously it's an either or. In your case, cutting first seems way more reasonable, but retards here are usually obsessed with lifting big numbers more than they're concerned with their health that they'd prefer the bulk over the cut...

A man that actually trains is not going to be particularly skinny fat at 200lbs (unless they're a manlet). OP should actually have been a bit heavier if he had properly trained and eaten. You saying that you're skinny fat at 180lbs @ 6'5 is a bit of a self-own.
>>76628869
He eats too little.
>>76628188
>100g protein
>vague "but I lift 1 hour!" statement
Either another bait thread or just another retard spinning his wheels because he refused to do the bare minimum amount of research.

Sounds like someone who's boozing 3-4 evenings a week and mixes his powder with whole milk.

>20 minutes of cardio

nigga do 45 minutes of intense cardio A DAY. you'll see improvements.

worked for me
>>
>>76628247
Let me guess, you did SS for two years and nothing else
>>

>150 at 6'3
THANK YOU HUNGRY SKELETON

He needs to get his muscle mass up to at least 220 at that height to look filled out.
>>
>>76628188

You're not eating enough protein. You need like 140 g/day.

Also, fast a couple days a week.
>>
>>76629620
So he can go from skinny fat to fat? Ffs dude...
>>
THe term skinny fat should be illegal. Your weight starts with a fucking two, you're fat.
>>
>>76630706
At 6’3 it’s a little different though. If he’s 205 and fat he’d have to cut down to like 175 to be beach ready, and that’s pretty thin at that height
>>
>>76628188
Cut sugar and salt. I’m on the far right. Naturally superior.

This is 5 months ago, after 12 months of training, right after a 2 month 10kg cut. I'm 6'2 and weight 190lbs in this picture. I was doing a 3 day full body routine here.
I've been eating around 1.8-2g protein per kilo of weight. So that adds at around 180g of daily protein. And i'm fucking vegan btw.
Count calories, train hard. There's no more to it.
The theory and the practice is really easy. Just COUNT CALORIES. To lose weight you eat less calories. You need to count calories to eat less calories. At least until you train your intuition on rations. But until that point weight your food.
