Is squatting 2x week all you need to build impressive legs?I'm not a bodybuilder, I just want to look strong and have thick, meaty thighs and a strong looking ass.
Currently doing squats every session, but i only go to the gym every 3 days. So just a little over twice a week. Once i think my squat is acceptable i'll probably dial it down so i can incorperate rdl's again. From what i've heard even once a week is fine, most people don't even squat or alternate with the leg press.

>>76628193That's all any muscle needs.Recovery is largely genetic. We can look at aggregates and say it's somewhere around 2 a week. Which is great if you're a living aggregate but if it takes you 3 days or 5 days you're either missing out or getting more than you want. But 2 is a good starting point and just play it by ear where you see the most consistent strength increases stick with that interval even if you have to do more work on that day to make a differnce.
