If I get my 315 squat to 20 reps, would that mean I could do 365 for 1?

No, I don't think so

that is too big of a difference

- eventhough there is some merit in being able to do more reps is being able to exert a higher force (after all doing more reps means doing them dynamically because the strength component is already there (starting from 1-3 reps) and you start to work on you endurance (motorunit strength too)) but the returns are diminishing rapidly from 5 to 10, from 10 to 15, from 15 to 20 - I would guess that from 7-8 reps the strength component does not really advance anymore

- the difference between 1-3 and 7-8 reps in terms of dynamic force exertion won't be that much (16%), I think only the usual increments (5%) will work (in lieu doing ballistic movements that will result in a whole different force-time curve)

No, it means you could taper and squat 365 for 1 IN A FEW MONTHS.
>>
>>76635308
I got my squat to 315x5 and could do 365x1
>>
>>76635308
I got up to 315lb for 20 and I think my 1rm was 400lb, I did quickly push my 1rm to 425lb after that, but maybe I could do it all along. Always felt 20 rep squats was more being decent strong + cardio rather than just being strong.
>>
>>76635308
Doing 365 for 1 would definitely count.
>>
>>76635308
I have no idea i do all my squats past 300 in 1rm

Stop giving advice on this board. I can tell it's you in every thread with your fucking reddit spacing retard. All of your advice is completely wrong. If you can do 20 reps of 315 you can probably do 3 or 4 reps of 365. Have you ever even touched a weight before

The only weight a woman needs to lift is her bf's dick.

According to this calculator it would be 525 lbs. Though you never know until you test it. Doing heavy singles is a skill that has to be practiced which would result in you getting a higher 1RM.

and u leave it without comment as if it were good legs bot lol - they are equally disastrous and squat is to blame :D squat and roids of course but roids serve as magnification tool for natty, yes your vastus lateralis will get blown out of proportion and give your leg appearance of roid chicken with bulbous idiotic whamanly seeminly fat thighs

and that is just the aesthetics of it, there is function that's crippled and health that gets demolished also, there's also atrophy as the squat produced muscles take over function of other muscles, u can 100% expect glute max to atrophy in relation to glute medius for example, calves will shrink cause your walking pattern will change i could go on and on about it - u know that bot :D

the ONLY squat u should do is unilaterally in full internal hip rotation (keep rotating in entire time) quartersquat isometric hold
>whuwhy?
i made it
>that's not a good reason
it grows quad regionally - closer to knee - and blows up the only part of quad u really want and will never get with squats: Vastus Medialis Oblique
>but platz has VMO
it's not real muscle - it's roidous watery bloat and it's the proportion that matters - he's got small vmo compared to rest of quad :D
and remember he wasn't REALLY squatting like u for weight, he was keeping knees close together - don't do it it will fuck u up
do my quartersquat if ya rly want that close to knee part of quad folding over joint gently when relaxed with straight leg (by the way - i don't think i have ever seen this phenomenon in roiders)

>>76635866
You two definitely don't even fucking lift.
>>76635947
This guy has it right. I did exactly the same thing. Your results might vary a little but you should be pretty fucking close if you can do a clean 315x5.
>>
>>76638173
That calc is pretty shit for any rep range past like 8 or so. The 1RM conversion probably shouldn't even change for conversions past 15.

If you can do 315 for 20 you should be squatting over 405.
