Bros I just learned that polyester (plastics) contains estrogen and that it's bad for your testosterone. So why are 99.9% of gym clothes made of polyester?

I would engage with this post but I have done so before and was met with abuse when I said 100% cotton is better than polyester for exercise if you live in a non humid environment.
Goodbye
>>
>>76635696
I've found that whenever I work out in polyester I start to sweat like a pig because polyester isn't that breathable at all and it keeps a lot of my body heat.
The only benefit polyester has, is that it doesn't hold onto fluids as long as cotton. So people use the excuse that polyester is better for sweat.
>>
>>76635686
because it's cheaper
that's all there is to it
>>
>>76635686
Just make sure you underwear is made from 100% cotton. I still wear polyester pants during workouts. Just feels nicer.
>>
>>76635721
This. OP is pretty stupid if he can't run two brain cells together to work it out.
>>
>>76635686
>Bros I just learned that polyester (plastics) contains estrogen
it doesn't

>and that it's bad for your testosterone.
it's not
>>
>>76635894
You know what actually contains a lot of estrogen? Milk. That thing that body builders drink all the time
>>
>>76635696
Yes, if you do low rep sets with big rest periods between sets.
Anything more demanding and you are drenched in sweat, regardless of humidity.
>>
>>76635939
Yeah, keep crying about it bitch. High quality cotton doesn't hold on to sweat anymore than polyester. I even wear two layers of thick shirts and am not drenched no matter how hard I workout in the temperature controlled gym.
However I am drenched if I go on a hike outside in summer but it's still not a problem as the sweat is trapped and the slightest breeze cools you down.
Go fuck yourself.
>>
>>76635686
because poor people deserve to suffer. Merino wool or bust, at least for shirts. although you can wear polyester shorts if you're wearing cotton underwear and not give a shit.
>>
>>76635686
Polyester doesn't contain "estrogens" you low iq subhuman. BPA in polyester (less than the dose you take while even breathing in a major city or while drinking from a watter bottle) is disruptive to hormonal functions is all, not that it matters because you're a genetic dead end babboon

This will barely make a difference. The polyester shorts will still give you negative gains and bitch tits. Just wear cotton then shower (with a filter) and change (into more cotton).
>>
>>76635686
/fa/ will say these qualify as baggy pants

You are so definite, cunt, and you are wrong. Your "climate control" sissy gym is not the standard.
People run 10 miles at dry 34°C heat or others bike triple the distance in humid cold. Neither wear cotton.
>>
>>76636879
>humid cold
Damn, I could've sworn I said something about non humid summer.

This is why I don't engage with posts about fabric types. Depending on your genetics 100% cotton is good of you are white and pale or it can be bad if you're a bit swarthy.
Goodbye

What about doing what works for you?
>>
>>76635686
Bad news for you OP, your chemistry is entirely made up, and even if it were not, you can't transition merely by wearing basketball shorts, it would take a little bit more to have any effect.
I think there's a directionality effect where I don't eat or drink clothes, I sweat in them. So any "whatever" in the clothes will be flowing away from me, not toward and into my sweat glands like an amphibious frog. If you're a frog I would advise not to wear polyester, IF polyester were bad which it seems it is not. If you're a sweaty human I think you'll be OK.

They're 98% cotton with very low GSM retard, at best. Most clothing is 65/35 nowadays
Decent GSM cotton prices start at $8

I own many silk button up shirts from thrift store.

look up how much estrogen clothing detergents add on top of it
theres no reason to worry about this stuff since you cant stop it, all drinkable water was plastic in it too.
if you care about hormones just pin them

>So why are 99.9% of gym clothes made of polyester?

Why is there estrogen chemicals in the water? Or the food? Or cleaning products. Receipt paper, toilet paper, sun screen, shampoo? Why does everything pull down your T and Why does nothing boost it? - Because they hate you and want you weak and dumb and compliant.

>>
>>76638728
Yes, I take it. I was being hyperbolic. I take pine pollen tincture, macca root, pomegranate juice, eggs, zinc+magnesium and get plenty of sunlight. We shouldn't have to fight tooth and nail and diligently using these loopholes just to cling to a level of testosterone that came naturally to our forefathers (i just got tested at 649)

Personally I have opted for injecting steroids so my hormones are in top form.
The only risk is getting cancer but I would rather RNG cancer than follow all this bullshit every fucking day it seems tiring.

1. Cheaper to manufacture
2. Fitness clothing outside of organized sports
was originally mass marketed to woman.

If its not bad for woman well and that's as
far as the thinking went.
