What am I in for?
>>76638870KekImagine taking these useless drugs The Jews destroyed u
>>76638870of all the drugs for moderate depression and mild to moderate schizo, wellbutrin is basically the best for effectiveness with minimal side effects. make sure you go to therapy and fix your fucking life while on it, because you do not want to stay on it for life.once again, this shit DOES NOT WORK UNLESS YOU ALSO DO THERAPY.t. RW medfag, yes therapy and all that is for gay libtards in general but if you have an actual chemical imbalance then wellbutrin is good. also fix your fucking diet and exercise. you do NOT want to stay on this med for life.
>>76639027Kek >Chemical imbalance Hey bro the 1950s called they said it's ok for you to leave them now. Ur free to go
this is a bot thread
>>76639048Imagine taking a drug that has no purpose other than to make u a zombie
>>76638870did you try running, lifting and fixing your diet first?
>>76639027>if you have an actual chemical imbalance
Psychosis.
DUDE DRUGS LMAO
>>76639048I shit on your wife
>>76638870PILLS HERE
>>76638870>[ANOTHER BOOMER PSYCH MED THREAD SPAWNS]I tried this bullshit but only a few times, would not recommend; it's like somewhere between benadryl and ritalin, only shittier. Bruxism skill issues.
>>76639055Yeah i hate alcohol and caffeine. Though caffeine makes me quicker for an hour then a zombie in the afternoon.
>>76640293>caffeine makes me quicker for an hour then a zombie in the afternoonAdjuvant therapy skill issues.
>>76639055Wellbutrin makes most people more hyperactive and focused
>>76639027how many people volunteered to have their brains sliced into mm thin sheets while they were alive and healthy so that "doctors" could examine their "chemical imbalances"?
Wellbutrin is pretty based, but it's a short term tool. The two times I've been on it, it's like having a balloon in my head that pushes out bad emotions. After a few weeks, the balloon hits it max and my whole body turns into an erogenous zone for like 30 minutes, followed by the balloon popping with a big headache. After that it has limited effectiveness.
>>76641442How researchers detect chemical tracesDetecting chemicals in the brain is tricky because the brain is protected by the blood–brain barrier and is highly dynamic. Common methods include:a. Imaging techniquesPET (Positron Emission Tomography): Injects a radioactive tracer that binds to specific neurotransmitter receptors. Tracks where and how much neurotransmitter activity occurs.fMRI (functional MRI): Indirectly measures chemical activity by tracking blood flow changes caused by neural activity.b. MicrodialysisTiny probes are inserted into a brain region to sample extracellular fluid.Allows researchers to measure neurotransmitters in real time.c. Post-mortem chemical analysisBrain tissue can be chemically analyzed to detect drugs, metabolites, or neurotransmitters.Techniques include mass spectrometry and high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).d. Blood or cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) analysisMany brain chemicals or their metabolites leak into CSF or blood.Measuring these can give indirect evidence of chemical activity in the brain.SummaryChemicals leave traces by metabolites, receptor changes, or structural alterations.Detection relies on imaging, fluid sampling, or tissue analysis. Some traces last only seconds (like neurotransmitters), others can persist for days, months, or even longer (like receptor changes or drug metabolites). If you want, I can make a visual diagram showing how chemicals enter, act, and leave traces in the brain, which makes it way easier to understand. Do you want me to do that?

>>76638870Have you tried DMT first? Cured my depression and anxiety. Turns out it was just self doubt caused by past trauma. Entity told me it loved me unconditionally and started crying like a bitch.
>>76643365As some wgo has done dmt i dont rec most people do it. Last ti.e i did mushrooms made me an anxious mess and same with dmt. Cant even micro dose lsd. If you are in a bad mindset tripping can be bad.
>>76643614Or it can be. The mind is complex and u may fund trauma you pushed into a box in a deep corner of your brainIt has also helped at times.
>>76641799The "chemical imbalance" theory, often linking mental health issues like depression to neurotransmitter deficits (e.g., serotonin), is an oversimplification lacking consistent evidence, as shown in a 2022 review debunking serotonin-depression links. It's called a "myth" due to insufficient causal proof. Detection methods, historically tied to this theory, are limited in live humans by indirectness, invasiveness, or poor resolution, yet retain research value.PET (Positron Emission Tomography)PET uses radioactive tracers for indirect snapshots of neurotransmitter activity, but it's invasive, expensive, radiation-exposing, and low-resolution temporally, failing to confirm imbalances in mental disorders. Still, it quantifies receptor density precisely in studies of addiction or Parkinson's, detecting drug responses without alternatives matching its specificity.fMRI (Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging)fMRI tracks blood flow as a proxy for activity, not direct chemicals, with poor temporal/spatial resolution and artifacts from noise or motion, offering no direct imbalance evidence. However, it's non-invasive, radiation-free, and maps whole-brain function for cognition, schizophrenia, or clinical uses like surgery planning.MicrodialysisProbes sample brain fluid directly but are invasive, limited to surgical patients, with low temporal resolution and tissue damage risks, restricting routine use and imbalance detection. It provides unique real-time neurotransmitter insights in animal models or human injury monitoring for drug development.Blood or Cerebrospinal Fluid (CSF) AnalysisThese measure leaked metabolites indirectly, with poor brain correlation due to barriers, invasiveness (CSF puncture), and variability, showing low sensitivity for imbalances. Blood is minimally invasive for scalable screening, while CSF aids biomarker detection in Alzheimer's, complementing imaging.
They actually work. It's like a weaker adderall and you don't feel sad as much
>>76639027>you do NOT want to stay on this med for life.i have been on this shit for years now and my psych has not indicated that i should ever stop. what do? i personally dont wanr to rely on meds my whole life. i have been (and am in) therapy, which has been teaching me to work through my issues.but i would like to stop taking meds.
