Nah, I just bought micro-plates online

2x0.5 kilos
2x0.25 kilos

They've helped A LOT in getting through plateaus. Benching half a kilo or a kilo more per week isn't that noticeable, but it adds up

this is why i dont barbell bench, i like to train to failure and failing a bench press at home with no safeties is just too much of a hassle. doing weighted pushups, db press and flies has worked well.
