Is a cup of coffee a day really that bad for you?
Let's assume you get it without any sugar or flavor shots

bit of black coffee is just fine, don't drink so much you shit yourself or get the jitters
>>
>>76661015
I put a splash in my protein shake every morning
>>
>>76661061
Sounds awful
Why tf would you start your day with suppslop

>Is a cup of coffee a day really that bad for you?
It's good for you, actually. Coffee (not caffeine) is neuroprotective and lowers all-cause mortality. It's the most studied beverage on the planet and all effects are clear as day in pretty much every study/metastudy from all groups who investigate.
Overindulge? Sure, anxiety gets bad. I've drank 1 cup/day of coffee for 15 years and never had a problem, its only when I start drinking more and more that anxiety problems start (and then I just drop back down and I'm good). The benefits outweigh the negatives.

Who says coffee is bad for you? There is literally nothing wrong with it
>>
>>76661015
I use coffee to stay awake when I do double shifts.
Otherwise never touch the stuff so I don't build a tolerance to it, also it fucks with your collagen so makes you old quicker.
>>
>>76661015
It's a good boost but it's bad if you're already energetic, going to sleep or don't need it
If your cortisol is high, don't drink it, if it's low, drink it, it's that easy

>is a cup of coffee a day bad for you?
no
>is one of those every day bad for you?
depends
>>
>>76661015
That's not "a cup of coffee" you fucking retard

that's not coffee, that's emulsified goyslop with a vague coffee flavoring pumped in at some point

I do the opposite, I like coffee with milk, so I dunk a bit of my protein shake (I make it with whole milk) into my cup of coffee, and then drink the rest of the shake with a cupcake, lol.

This. Black coffee is God tier. You can overdo it, of course, but a cup or two per day contains good shit.

Even the caffeine it contains is said to have alzheimers combatting effects.

Note: Black coffee has an anti-aging effect on telemeres BUT caffeine alone does not. Its almost like the whole food (cupof black coffee) is good for oyu, but the distilled and isolated drug has some drawbacks.

The benefots of a cup or two per day outweigh the negatoves, which appear to be zero. For black coffee.

Once you start adding creams and sweeternes, its a completely different analysis (although a dash of real cows milk cream or 1 half and half cannot be a signifcant problem)

>In support of the uniqueness of coffee’s interaction with the gut microbiome, our initial ZOE Personalized Responses to Dietary Composition Trial (PREDICT 1) metagenomics study showed that coffee consumption had, among over 150 food items, the highest correlation with gut microbiome composition in ~1,000 individuals.
This isn't hard proof of anything, but still pretty cool.

>irrelevant, time-wasting question
Where's my lust-provoking image?
>>
>>76661015
coffee, no.
but that's not really coffee.

Duncan Donuts iced coffee starts with the same coffee you'd get if you ordered it black. It's literally just coffee and creamer over ice. The pumped flavors are the questionable part, but aren't essential to having an iced coffee.

Coffee dehydrates the skin. It will eventually age you

it's berries, innit?
coffee is the single largest source of antioxidants in the average american diet

Will excessive black coffee cause dry mouth or dry throat
>>
I'm convinced coffee made me start to go bald. I didn't drink coffee at all until I was about 30, now at 32 my hairline is fucked and nothing else has changed with diet or suppliments
>>
>>76665150
You know about aging bursts right?
>>
>>76661015
No
Can ruin your sleep if you drink it before sleeping tho
>>
