>>

Can you point to one on dozens of different supplements bigger than the average roidtranny/SARMgoblin?

I'd find what they useful, but otherwise pretty much not if they're just gonna say eat lots of le protein.

Relative to other lifting advice online?
Absolutely revolutionary lmao
How many guys got bloated on ss and 5/3/1 because Reddit told them to?
>>
>>76661618
>No! You can't just do curls! You have to build a strength base first!!!
>>
>>76661653
Its unreal how fucking faggy the SS cult was. For as much shit as people give science based lifters now, the SS cult was way worse and way more militant about it.

It fueled the deranged strength standards that everyone online claimed are easily achievable, yet practically no one in real life has actually reached in the given time frames. According to Rippetoe a beginner can achieve 315 lbs squats for fahve sets of fahves in 6 months, and 405 lbs squats for fahve sets of fahves in a year. lol right
>>
>>76661776
it's very possibile if you weigh 225+ lbs

A few months ago I started getting recommendations for Basement Bodybuilding, and honestly it was eye opening. I'm convinced that if a beginner lifter followed his advice 100% for a few months they would completely mog someone who is just doing Starting Strength or 5/3/1 or whatever. While I didn't completely ditch the squats, bench, and deadlifts, now I do them with no higher priority than my other lifts, and with a rep goal system rather than straight sets of fahves. Here's some bullet points that I've incorporated in my own program:
>You don't get big by chasing big numbers. You get big by chasing the stimulus that causes big numbers.
>Quality of reps and proximity to failure > progressive overload.
>Isolation lifts are no less important than barbell lifts.
>Rep goal > straight sets.
>The way you look in a relaxed state is more important that the way you look with a pump and under spot lighting (i.e. being instagram lean is overrated and fake)
>Preacher curls
>JM press
inb4 "post body", now you.

>rep goal system
you mean double progression?
also great summary, I've been binge watching his videos too
>>
>>76661859
Having a rep goal means that you set a goal for the total number of reps that you do across 3 sets, and you perform every set of the session with an equal proximity to failure. Naturally, you will be able to do more reps in your first set and fewer reps in your last set. If, for example, you have a rep goal of 30, and in your 3 sets you perform 12, 8, and 7 reps respectively, then you have done 27 reps in total and you should keep using that weight until you can do 30 in total. it's preferable in comparison to doing straight sets (e.g: three sets of 10) because in that case you'd keep too many reps in reserve in your early sets just so you can finish the later sets.

Autists can get bitches too, surprisingly. Just don't be ugly and short.
>>
>>76661883
you are basically doing renaissance periodization spreadsheets but worse somehow. based
>>
>>76662350
not him but that's literally what most of the "noble natties" tubers shill
basically do 3 sets for 4 to 8 reps and when you get to 8 reps in all of the sets you increase the weight
>>
>>76661617
>>76661612
He meant if he put 5'6 for the tinder expiriment retards, which that guy did so they don't swipe him off. Alex is 5'3 irl.
>>
>>76662350
I don't know about what progression is recommended on renaissance periodization, but if it involves spreadsheets it is probably not it. you don't do training blocks or meso cycles and you don't plan your progressive overload ahead of time. you just keep the intensity high and constant, and you take the additional rep when it is there.
