I have recently started to switch to all natural products, bamboo plastic free toothbrush, non fluoride toothpaste, allepo soap, natural mousterizer, natural deodorant and have become aware of how terribble plastics are and the poisining of people through everything, i still use nicotine pouches which i know isnt good but try my best to avoid, what i cant wrap my head around is how everything is plastic and how the hell can u avoid it completely? What did u guys do actively to avoid it by a big margin and what are the next steps i can take? All engagement appreciated.
By not living in a city, nothing you will do mitigates or reduces the effects, it's such a miniscule margin that actively working towards ingesting more BPA might result in less BPA intake. The amounts of toxins you ingest by living in any +100,000k city anywhere in thr world cant be reduced or mitigated, you're constantly inhaling absorbing eating and sweating plastic and other carcinogens. It is this bad. Actually screw that even nature is tainted now. Only a nuclear winter might be the solution
>>76666450only 5000 people where i live but oslo which has almost 1 million people is just 30 minutes away from here unfortnately
>>76666435You can't, you already have enough plastic in your brain to make a credit card, only way to avoid plastic would be to move somewhere extremely remote where there was no human before, and even then you might still consume plastic from the environmental pollution
>>76666470sad to think about
>>76666470the plastics are in the rain anon. in the oceans and lakes. they're everywhere unfortunately. there is no such place left.
>>76666435That's the most normie shit
>>76666557taking care of ur body is not normie at all
None of the things you've done reduce microplastic exposure to your body anon. You've fallen for memes. The main way you get plastics in your body is through your diet. Yes you are eating your microplastics not breathing them in. Your skin doesn't absorb plastic through its pores through osmosis. And the main way you consume plastics is by heating them up. If you microwave your food in a tupperware and then eat from that tupperware you are consuming small bits of that tupperware with your meal. If you ate some room temperature peanuts that came in a plastic bag, that's completely fine. Your plastic toothbrush did absolutely nothing if you were using cold water, it's completely inert. The big culprit which likely billions of people fall for is disposable tea/coffee cups. You pour boiling water into it, cook the plastic layer, and let it brew with your caffeine for a few minutes whilst drinking it. And this is something people might have 3-4x times per day.
Avoid clothing with more than 20% polyester/acrylicSame goes for bedding, try and find cotton, linen, and best of all wool clothing, underwear, bedsheets etc. Polyester clothing is everywhere so it's gonna be tough, just try and go for a mixture with as little polyester as possible and don't work out in polyester even though literally everyone does itAlso avoid eating food up in plastic, basically what >>76666593 said, same goes for teflon and also don't use plastic cooking utensils.Try going for stainless steel, there is a different method for frying with a stainless steel pan, something like pre heating the pan more but it is doable with some youtube videos. And as a bonus don't use harsh detergents or fabric softeners or basically anything perfumy including axe body wash or whatever retarded shower gel is being marketed right now.Clothing doesn't really need that much detergent so go for a free and clear one or something along those lines, something hypoallergenic. Same goes for soap, it's a tough adjustment but look for grey bar soap, your body will thank you.All in all hit the sauna as it'll help you sweat out micro plastics and other toxins, also fermented food like kefir, sauerkraut/kimchi, yogurt, etc will neutralize the effects of micro plastics.Godspeed anon.
>>76666677i was told iron pans was the best
>>76666677is stainless steel better?
>>76666689>>76666687Both are fine, just comes down to preference. Ceramic is also okay and is cheaper than both but not as high quality.Stainless steel can be easier to clean and and you don't have to worry about seasoning it which I like over cast iron but cast iron has such a nice heat distribution.
>>76666470>only way to avoid plastic would be to move somewhere extremely remote where there was no human before, and even then you might still consume plastic from the environmental pollutionIt's already everywhere, tip of everest to the mariana trench. only solution is to fully sterilize and filter many tons of dirt, live in a bunker with water and air filtration, and a big enough greenhouse/vivarium to raise your own plants and animals. Also pay someone to draw blood regularly to remove whats already there. A few generations of plants in the antiplastic bunker should return clean plants/animals.
