Posted about this in /sci/ a while ago and only got a few npc responses. What's the deal with the thyroid? People always says it's super important, no one ever says why. What's your experience? Anyone stopped taking their meds? What's the dealio?
The thyroid is some sort of body chemistry equalizer idk I just take lugol's iodine because of a green text I saw on a Mongolian basket weaving forum.

>>76666633>What's the deal with the thyroid? It controls your metabolism and can make or break you.>What's your experience? Meds don't work.> Anyone stopped taking their meds? It's like roids, once you're on them you need to take them forever because the gland stops working on its own. And it's not like you only get tits and low libido from stopping the meds, but possibly coma and death.
>>76666839glancing through this basically aligns with what else I've heard, that hypo is tied to mineral deficiencies that can impact the web of chemical flow, along with other stuff about chakras and meridians and whatnot. It seems like if metabolism is the big thing, that one could supplement those minerals and otherwise live a healthy lifestyle (diet, exercise, sleep) without having to rely on prescribed hormones? I've gone looking for other personal anecdotes and find that the symptoms people usually complain about are mostly habitual, ie. too fat and depressed to exercise and diet
>>76666955you can ctrl+F thyroid on his testimonials page for anecdotes though I'm sure people following a strict and "extreme" program such as this differ greatly from regular normalfags' attempts to treat themselveshttps://drlwilson.com/HAIR%20ANALYSIS/HA%20TESTIMONIALS.htm
