What separates normal people is how good you can shoot under pressure. Anybody can shoot a gun accurately. But if you watch any shootout video between a normal civilian and a cop/soldier, the guy that's trained keeps his gun straight when bullets are flying past him. Also, videos of US soldiers vs Arabs are hours long of both sides shooting from cover until someone gets lucky. Spec ops like navy seals just practice cqc way more than an average marine, but even with training it's extremely dangerous. They just prefire every corner like siege. I could easily do the pt tests in any branch.

I saw some YouTube short about some delta guy who was part of an experiment where they got a group of soldiers together and had a full team of trainers, physics, endocrinologists and nutritionists basically dial in every aspect of training to turn them into super humans just so they could cruise through delta selection and iirc it worked pretty well. Obviously exogenous hormones were involved. I mean I don't see why not.The military should put more resources into figuring out optimised blends of Peds and hormones for spec ops if not all infantry branches. These guys are getting shot at, why not give them every advantage? Improve stamina, strength, cognition, wound and injury prevention and recovery...
