>2nd layer: fiber and micros: general non-potato veggies, 400-600g, fruit, 200-300g. can go autistic on how to choose it, but fuck that, unless you're going for the health high score just eat a variety.
>3th layer: yogurt, kefir, and similar: 200g, eggs: 2, buy quality if you can afford it.
>4rd layer: carbs, whole grains: 75-90g

are you poor or retarded?
>>
>>76667769
Genetically retarded, as in I have family history of cancer.
Red meat consumption is linked to colon cancer, no matter how studies are done to figure it out, it's simply the meat itself.
You still need some because it's nutritious as fuck, but more than once or twice per week and it becomes uncomfortably risky, imo ofc.
>>
>>76667776
red meat colon cancer RCTs have exonorated red meat. there is no "risk" just weak associations parroted by ideologues who ignore contrary evidence. sorry to hear that youre retarded btw. assuming you can read above a fifth grade level this paper explains the deception. the author was on the IARC panel that declared red meat causing colon cancer and was the dissenting voice ignored by vegetarian ideologues

The food pyramid isn't too far off if you're following the other government recommendations like 30-45 minutes of moderate exercise per day. Let's say that's a comfy jog of about 7km per day, you're going to burn about 500 calories. You really will need quite a bit of carbs to properly recover.
The food pyramid needs way more protein though, and should stop demonising fats.

While the inclusion of foods such as raw milk, beef, chicken, fresh fruits, honey, whole wheat pasta, some vegetables, and eggs is nutritionally sound, I would argue that the pyramid concept itself is fundamentally flawed and misleading."
"The choice of these foods and their appropriate quantities depends on a multitude of individual factors, including current Body Mass Index (BMI), activity level, specific physical or performance goals, and levels of mental exertion.

Whole foods?
>fruits
man-made
>pasta
processed food
>vegetables
man-made

It's so bizarre to me how many people make these ignorant equivalences between foods that are complete trash, and foods like fish, eggs and meat. There is no comparison, no equivalence, no "balance" between them. Animal foods contain complete nutrition in their ideal form, evidenced by their bio-availability. All plants have terrible bio-availability even after hundreds/thousands of years of cultivation to make them more edible. We are not meant to be eating them.

The food pyramid is really a food hierarchy. At the top would be organs, eggs, blood and the highest quality animal foods like those. Below would be muscle meats of various animals and fishes. Below would be processed meats like bacon and sausages and perhaps honey. Below those would be the least toxic plants, so wild berries etc. Below those fermented plants like kimchi. And at the bottom would be basically every non-fermented plant food source like grains, nuts, oils, leaves, all of them.

The hierarchy I just described can also be visualised as a hierarchy of decreasing profit-margins which is why the regime is so ideologically invested in pushing an inversion of it.

A LOT OF WRONG, A LOT OF RIGHT, I AGREE WITH YOUR BASIC PREMISE
ORGAN MEATS YES
BACON ABSOLUTELY NOT NO SAUSUAGES ARE U NUTS
NO PORK PLEASE, FIRST OF ALL, ABSOLUTE TRASH
CHICKEN IS BARELY ACCEPTABLE, ONLY IF EXTREMELY LEAN BECAUSE THE PROBLEM IS THE DISGUSTING FAT,
FRUITS, FRUITS AREN'T VEGETABLES, THEY'RE HTE FRUIT OF THE PLANT
CARROTS, GOOD, ONIONS, VEGETABLES ARE GOOD BUT NOT GO CRAZY, LIEK I WOULD NEVER EAT A SALAD, BUT VEGETABLES CAN ALSO ADD FLAVOR TO MEAT MEALS
>>
>>76670714
pasta BRO WHOLE WHEAT PASTA, THAT'S WHY I SAID DEPENDS ON YOUR ACTIVITY LEVEL, GOALS, ETC.
IS GOOD WHY NOT?? EXCELLENT FUEL, EVEN HAS PROTEINS
U HAVE TO READ BETWEEN THE LINES AND BE REASONABLE, IT'S ALSO EXTREMELY ENJOYABLE TO EAT THOSE TYPES OF CARBS ONCE IN A WHILE, WHICH IS WHY I SAID ALL OF THIS, IT ALL DEPENDS, ON THE FACTORS I LISTED ABOVE IN THE ACTUAL CIVIL AND RESPECTABLE POST I MADE,
BECAUSE,
THE PYRAMID AS A ONCEPT FOR FOOD GROUPING AND GUIDING YOUR DIET IS INHERENTLY FLAWED, IT MAKES NO SENSE
>>
>>76667747
Make the bottom tier joined with middle tier as 1/3 1/3 1/3
Make dairy and meat a combined tier 30%+ calories consumed
Top tier just kind stands as is because I don't think it's particularly egregious.
>>
>>76670747
Dude, "whole wheat pasta" is not a whole food. The wheat itself has been highly engineered, only part of it is taken and then processed into pasta. It's called whole wheat not because it's a whole food but because more of the grain is used in the production, which isn't even a good thing since grains are toxic. The same reason white rice is less toxic than wholegrain rice.

You need to get over this weird psyop that plants have health benefits, they don't. They're all some degree of toxic, and we eat them because they taste nice. Once you learn to view plants correctly and traditionally (as food ornamentation rather than nutrition) things will make more sense.

>>
>>76667825
It's physically impossible for red meat to rot in your gut. It gets liquefied in the stomach. Plants pass through the stomach basically undigested and get broken down in the gut. There's a youtuber called Kent carnivore who has a colostomy bag. After he got out of surgery, he tried eating food and found this out. He said he would cut pineapple into triangles or hexagons and that's how they would appear in his colostomy bag.

>Klurfeld
A well known charlatan. He purposely cherry picks studies that don't show as strong as an association. There have also been much stronger studies since he made that opinion piece. such as:
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/40773080/
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/39203746/
https://bmccancer.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s12885-023-11218-1

Choosing to ignore or dismiss the incredibly large body of evidence for weaker studies is just silly. Pure confirmation bias.

Any food pyramid with a high amount of carbs is automatically an epic fail. Picrel is more like a war diet than anything else.
There are also factors that a "standard" food pyramid does not take into consideration, such as what one is hoping to achieve with their diet, and personal dietary requirements and restrictions.
