since I can't commit to 6-day/week training, I'm cutting it to 5 days. It just seems supreme in every way, more strict schedule, more rest, can add more variety etc. I'm currently doing ppl and in order to make it work in 5-day routine I thought about mixing it with upper/lower. Does anybody have experience with this kind of plan? I plan on doing bench on both push and upper, and squat, hip thrusts and calves on both leg and lower. pic for attention

My current split is: Chest => Back => Shoulders/Biceps/Triceps => Legs => Chest + Back. It works pretty well.
Retard, just do it 3 full body per week.Reduce number of sets and waste exercises per training day, but increase per week in total. How hard is that? I've been doing this for 11 years. You don't get burned out and still do more volume per week and have more free time
>>76668416I tried it. Not worth it, for me, unless you're doing ULU-UL-.Even then, what's the advantage vs a standard upper-lower? that you get an extra upper day? Fun, but not necessary, and a rest day is important too.
>>76668416Why wouldn't you just do 3 days Upper 2 lower if you want to switch to 5 days. >>76668528>more volume per week doing 3 days full bodyDOUBT unless you're in the gym for like 3 hours. I think you genuinely don't understand how programming works.
