I know everyone is different but as someone who doesn't really life I went to the gym for the first time in a long time and I am almost 29. I finished my masters this year and now I have really no excuse not to go hard. I am skinny fat at 170lbs, prob 20%+ bodyfat. 5'10-11.Current main lifts are:OHP 100 lbs 3x8Bench 135 Lbs 3x8Squat 225 Lbs 4x8Curls 30lbs 3-4x8Bodyweight pull ups 3x8I want to get to:OHP 135 lbs 3x8Bench 225 3x8Squat 315 lbs 3x8Curls 50 lbs each arm 4x8bodyweight pull ups 3x20+ Are these reasonable goals or am I being too ambitious? I kind of want to stay in the 160-180 lbs range. My current program is full body, rest, rest, lower, upper, rest, rest but I am thinking of progressing into 4x a week and do upper lower, rest, rest, repeat and eventually PPL when my recovery gets better with consistency.

>>76669444Vids of what? These aren’t impressive stats. I’ve lifted consistently in late 2022 where I went from 130lbs to 160lbs but I pretty much had same stats. Lower body fat% but my squat was like 135 lbs because I never squated and just did leg press. Also legs are a weak point for me. I walk a lot since then and I’m def a lot less lean but I’ve been doing full body twice a week for the last 2 weeks these are my stats from yesterdays work out.
>>76669291I don't know, do it and tell us. It will only work out if you stick to it. In my experience, expecting a physical transformation is not motivating enough because the reward is in a too distant future (not to mention slow gradual change you hardly perceive without periodic hard measurements). Find a way to enjoy working out and to make it part of your daily life. Within 6 months people will have told you about it. Also, eat and sleep accordingly or it will be for nothing.
