Why is the number on the scale going down while the amount of visible lard isn't budging?
>>
Because there is lard that isn't visible.

you're losing muscle instead of fat

It could be just water/puffiness. Lard loss is not linear, first, your body burns the fat and tries to keep the fat cell its size by filling it with water. After some time, your body assumes the fat cell wont recover its fat and it releases the water, lowering the volume. That or either you are losing weight with a retarded crash diet and you are murdering your muscles.

I wish I fucking knew
at this point I'm seriously considering if I have body dysmorphia, when I see what 2kg of of fat looks like on a plate or whatever, I can't fathom how I can have lost that much over the last month and see 0 difference in the photos before and after
I'm probably losing muscle??
I just need to trust the process...

Because you are experiencing dysmorphia. That's actually a good thing. The proper way to lose weight is weigh yourself once or twice a day and obsess over every single fluctuation. It keeps you sharp.

Gotta lose the invisible lard first
