I think it has to do more with frame tgan types of training. So gebetics, mostly. I guess you could try to maximize your v taper with specific exercises, but 90% of your apoerance will be dictated by frame/genetics.

Its been getting mentioned here for a while now. If you have bad leverages for it you're not growing your pecs with it. I can bench 80kg/ 175 for reps and I still dont have any noticeable pecs. Yet, I squat 100kg/2pl8 and my quads are already starting to get bigger because squats hammer my quads. Isolations are king for actually making shit grow.

Beginner bench is 1pl8. 1pl8 and above is intermediate bench for non powerlifters. My delts fucking exploded in size from OHP before I even sniffed a pl8 doing it because they're a great lift for front and to a lesser extent side delts. Flat Bench has proven time and time again to just suck for hypertrophy. If you have to lift literal 1% tier lifts (which 3pl8 is) to get gains, its a bad exercise. wvx2x

a good marathon runner will be a decent sprinter and a good sprinter will be a decent marathon runner. they're both just running at different speeds. a beginner should just fucking run and find out what they like before deciding to dedicate themselves fully to one discipline.
it's a similar concept for lifting. basement bodybuilding is a 4 month cut away from having a good v taper like the famous bodybuilders you jerk off to. he's also a 4 month peaking phase away from having good powerlifting numbers.

3d delts are not a sign of roiding. 3d delts generally are a sign of properly trained delts. The trait in roiders that indicates they are roiding is because roiders have a greatly overdeveloped rear delt.

Guy on right likely is an ectomorph based on his clavicle length and hence may not even grow his delts even if he trained them properly. Left is a mesomorph and hence will be prone to developing more musculature with training.

The exact same body (muscularity, height, body hair, color) will look better to EVERYBODY (except the aforementioned perverts) as the body loses fat down from 40% to 20%. Under 20% there is some variety of opinion about what degree of leanness looks best. But under twenty, nobody is fat or sloppy or has rolls.

It's all about knowing how to lift heavy and recover afterwards. Too much lifts and bad recovery leads to "gym gut" and makes that blocky shape over time. Here's my method for getting out of this habit:

When I am alone after a workout, I will get naked and lie on my bed. I'll then lift my legs up and do a reverse frog pose so I'm rocking onto my back. Once in this position I will gengtly ladle my balls over my dick so as to expose the hairy-yet-ungenital'd region between the testicles and butthole. Using my other hand, I will then rhythmically slap my middle and ring finger against said region making a very distinct quick whapping sounds. This is done in a manner that causes no pain, and I will stress that this does not envoke any sexual arousal on my end whatsoever. Instead this forces a state of calm and focus, while also stretching the spine. Occasionally I will stray the slaps closer to the butthole with the finger slaps, as well as toward the fore with slaps localized to the rear base of my balls. Again, this causes no pain, and is no sexual. During this period I may sometimes sniff the fingers as a breathing endurance exercise, but I much prefer just making the little slaps. I don't know when I started this, but I greatly enjoy the experience and my recovery has improved tenfold. I would compare it to yoga, combined with sniffing and drumming the region in between your balls and butthole. It is a good sensory experience, a good immediate recovery stimulus, and I wholly reccommend doing it in the private comfort of your own home, or maybe a camping tent if you like camping. Sometimes I play music for this, but it depends on the mood: typically it's jazz, but I have opted for limp bizkit and metal when I am needing a more vigorous session. The tempo music does often influence my speed so I need to be careful, since I have bruised the area by accident before. All in all, I don't know if anyone else does this, but I greatly enjoy it and its results.
