Anyone here do OMAD?
I've been doing this for a week now, I basically psuh through my morning hunger, then eat about 1,800 calories for Lunch, then I feel full and satiated for the rest of the day. I don't even get any crazy cravings.

So far, it's sustainable. But not I'm not sure if it's a bad long term habit.

i do omad but i eat and the end of the day and sustain myself with water until then
>>
Yes I do this too

Today I had 1lb of ground bison and 2lbs of broccoli, only 1300ish calories
Was OK
Couldve really used a bit of rice

If it helps you stick to a low calorie diet and maintain your weight loss, it's absolutely great. Studies have shown that having your protein spaced out throughout the day is more beneficial for muscle growth. So if you're lifting weights, it's not the most optimum for hypertrophy or strength, but who cares about optimum. If you're overweight, continuing your deficit is too important to risk fucking it up chasing perfect hypertrophy. Keep up the good.

>1 week
lmao
You dont know how a diet is unless you do it for half a year
>>
>>76673636
It wrecks your metabolism. Stick to long fasts every once in awhile. Make fasting a lifestyle and your body will adapt in ways you dont want it to.

auschwitz tier, weak boy
>>
>>76673636
I did it and added occasional 36 hour fasts, quickly dropped tons of weight. Put most of it back on quickly the second I stopped. same with any other diet.
>>76675003
I do think my bmr dropped more than just corresponding to my lower weight. Like the biggest loser contestants

Imagine trying to gatekeep how often you eat a meal.
>>
>>76675220
I'm not gatekeeping anything
But you can do literally any diet short term, doesn't tell you shit

Your fault for being born poor
>>
>>76673636
What would it be like doing this when you want to maintain muscle and lose fat too? Eat all your protein at this meal and workout before the omad meal? I am afraid I'll lose muscle a lot during omad but it does help me lose weight, just not sure if im losing muscle too
>>
>>76675217
>Put most of it back on quickly the second I stopped.
Only retards who go back to their old garbage eating habits will have this problem with any weight loss this will happen to you, you are simply just stupid and will keep being stuck in this cycle until you look at the shit you eat
>>
how to maintain muscle during omad?
>>
>>76675351
you don't
>>
>>76675351
If you lost muscle because of omad eventually it would kill you.

Name on person who "died of omad"

It's a good habit because you activate autophagy every day
>>

What do you think one meal a day is?

>>76673636
I've been doing OMAD for almost eight years now. It helped me lose 75lbs and keep it off. If it works for you, I recommend it.
>>
>>76674939
Gallon of honey... a night???
>>
>>76676225
you heard me
>>
I did it for awhile but ultimately came to the conclusion that you're not meant to eat 2000+ calories in a short time window. It's useful for cutting, that's about it.
>>
>>76673636
it kinda sucks.
>>
>>76676173
you're weak, so your opinion doesn't matter
>>
>>76673636
I've been omad for several years. Medical people and every boomer can't comprehend it or think it's a disorder but given i have to make time to move my body around and lift heavy things during what limited time I have that isn't sitting or sleeping, eating more than once a day is borderline gratuitous much less 3 times a day plus snacks and sugar liquid plus dessert and other boomer, recreational eating shit. It appears to be going well though I will break and eat 12-12 a few consecutive days per month. If lifestyle warrants it, I'll go back to conventional eating but as it sits this makes the most sense

Lol, there is a relation to fatties and low IQ, they really do find a way to justify themselves. Discipline takes work you faggot.
>>
>>76673636
I've done it for close to 6.5 years most of the time, I've rarely had more than one meal in that time, but I've done it.
>>
>>76675048
>>76675351
I don't have too much muscle, I'm trying to twinkmaxx.
>>
>>76677293
pathetic faggot
>>
>>76673636
it's good, but it's for losing weight or maintaining at best unless you are in newbie gain stage. if your goal is gaining size/hypertrophy this is not a good plan.

my dad who is 60 eats once a day (but eats whatever he wants, and also eats snacks like nuts, chips, sweets like ice cream in afternoon) and he's been at 5% bf for over a decade now despite not even working out at all.
>>
>>76673636
I start Omar 10 years ago, I don't give a shit about calories, I just eat untill I'm full , I did it not because I was a fat ass but because let you save a lot of time if you live alone , btw in this last 5 years I put something like 15 kg of muscle , and my train is really minimal
>>
>>76673636
I omad 4k a day and only feel hungry when I start eating.
