What is the best lifting program of all time
Mark Rippetoe's Starting Strength, of course.
Is there a best tool in the garage? No. You need the one you need for the job you want to do.
>>76676513Hasnt that taken a lot of people to snap city
>>76676504It doesnt matter because you'll never put in the work. If you really wanted it, you'd already be lifting and not worried about some arbitrary timeline. If someone does tell you a timeframe you find acceptable, you'll go the gym then quit in a few months when you see no progress and then go back to making "how to achieve" threads with a pic of Gooky the anime character waiting for someone to "redpill" you on how to get jacked without doing anything. loser
>>76676619I lift more than you nigger I just want a change of pace
>>76676504SS won't give you those biceps and forearms. Do a Matthew Zlat's streetlifting program.
Whatever you feel like doingPrograms are goycodedI do squat ohp pull upThen deadlift bench curl
>>76676504The one you make for yourself after trial and error
lately i just focus on pushups and it's pretty ultimate
make you own based on the effective ranges of reps/sets/days and the relationship between intensity and sets per week
The one you keep doing :)
>>76676504Id start by doing way too much to see what you can handle before underprogramming say push and having well enough volume on pull and legs then having small arms and delts after doing the above.
>>76676619Why is this always assumed? Maybe the dude is doing a slumdog 80s gymteacher level program and wants to be more efficient. Like there are a lot of ex-vets who don't know how to program properly and just do jarhead exercises because the army drills habits into people. Stop having OP's cock up your ass and spewing shit from your mouth, faggot.
>>766765045/3/1Big but boring
>>76676972Unironically thisJim is a borderline retard but the knows a lot about getting big and strong, you could do 5/3/1 for ten years
>>76676504>ABr(r)A(r)(B/r)(rr)A is chest or delts, back id do every workout half assed to scale it best. Legs 2x/wk if weak but it can cut into gains by fatiguing you. The a or b days also neglect doing random extra shit that can even be chest or delts on off days as you see fit. Finding a sweet spot of resting for resetting strength by deloads vs lower freq. This i typically how i program but ill add some cables/machines instead of resting particularly on the same day as power and lile to be lifting most days so i can eat more and be growing. Technique is the biggest thing, if you cant get hyoerteophy after sets you womt get shit out of lifting, keep in mind tendon strength via powerlifting is huge and you cant be doing that as often without wearing yourself out. Nowadays im doing 80% this program with minimal back/legs, all bench/incline/mp/btb and lots of mid/rear delts and arms/forearms as 1:1 push/back/legs is not efficient for a balanced physique asap. Strength peaking and resting more over hyperteophy can help break plateaus and build harder deeper fibers, easy to get stuck doing one or the other. Im more on the overwork side, recovery is way faster bulking but im basically in a hole that 1mo of rest would benefit me. Uh i could write a specific weekly program but thats gay i might have a 5-10 day lifting week and need variable amounts of rest, i try to work super hard early so i can rest say chest it grows for 2-3 days rest shile still bulking and get enough done while 2 delt days, small muscles recover faster.
>>76677101A is chest/delts B is delts/chestIve been changing it to rest days are just light delts/legs and benching 2x/wk to focus on delt/arm work. You can try up to 4x bench it definitely does train tendons hard if thats your goal but be aware muscles grow 90% within 3 days but tendons take a good week to be in the same spot. Besides specific techniques, i just vary prison reps and full rom shit so i can get as strong as possible, usually prison reps first so i dont have to leave the gym early. Just gymratting is solid though, youll only need an actual well thought out program if youre powerlifting big boy numbers this shit has me weak all the time but i get way bigger natty faster than others who program like a nerd so ill just do this kinda shit and dial it back when the weight is heavier pretty much.
