If they're the best way to look jacked in clothing what's the best way to train them?
I've never isolated them before. I tried some barbell curls and extensions this week and my forearms had a rock hard muscle boner for an hour but I assume there's more to know.

Hammer curls. Dumbbell exercises in general are pretty good I think.

Mine are ok and the only "forearm" lift I do is deadlift holds, for traps too. They get a lot of work from lifting in general, compounds anyway.

Ive always liked the wrsit roller. I took a wooden towel and drilled a hole in it and tied a length of 550 cord to it then around a 15lb weight. If I want to add weoght I have some 2 inch 5lb metal plates I add on top if it. Then you just roll the 550 cord around the dowel, the weihht comes up and then you un curl ot and let it go down controlled. Its painful and burns and is honestly completely unnecessary if you just do rows and deadlift and pull ups but w/e its something to burn time.

you wanna train both flexion and extension so for extension you could do ez bar reverse curls/hammer curls, for flexion wrist curls will work
