How csn it be so cheap and high protein. Just bought two bottles snd they both contain 70g protein and only payed like 2 euro
>>
maybe it's just milk + whey in a bottle, would cost me sub $2 with my own milk and tub of whey I bought on discount

It tastes like ass so it's probably made out of it
>>

Because that shit is actually super cheap to produce, and even this cheap one still has some decent profit margins. If you're buying something more expensive, you typically pay just for the brand name and flavour additives.

>finds protein product priced reasonably
im telling you, the fitness industry is the easiest industry to scam. Whoever making this high protein drink obviously is an outlier but everyone else scams the shit of all of you guys. just think about ice baths and how there were 0 studies to prove its benefits. also just from a basic physiology perspective, colder temperatures would slow down recovery by constricting blood flow so it made absolutely no sense why anyone believed in this shit.
anyone trying to make a new business, just get into the fitness industry and sell some scammy product
>>
>>76678591
Because probably sre shitty protein, with a lot of sugar
>>
>>76678591
The catch is the sweeteners and dubious flavorings but whey is a literal waste product, they could pay you to take it and still somehow make a margin off of that
>>
>>76678591
because whey is a literal waste product in dairy farms that they sell in bulk for cheap so they don't have to dispose of it themselves + make some extra profit
>>
>>76678591
cheap things are cheap for a reason. enjoy your heavy metal shake yay

Colder temps help with swelling, it all depends on what you want to achieve.

If you want to rest, then warmth is good, it you neee to perform again quickly, ice is good

Just eat tuna and spinach

Yes, whey is a byproduct of dairy (yogurt, cheese) production, and in many cases was thrown out/given to animals.

What's your point?
>>
>>76681050
That in order to produce a high protein milk drink you don't need to add any expensive or complex steps in industrial production: you just add one more ingredient which is available, plentiful and cheap.

Ah OK thanks for clarifying

They actually do not. The whole thing about applying cold to shit like sprained ankles is against the latest medical guidelines. It's just one of those retarded myths that people and even medical professionals keep peddling, no one even knows where it came from.
But the latest research suggests that applying cold actually impedes the recovery and healing process. And the most up to date guidelines suggest using heat to improve the blood- and lymphflow.
Ice only "helps" by numbing the area that's why it's using by piercers because you need to desensitise the area, but using a full blown anaesthetic is a waste.

Just double checked, ice was completely removed from the guidelines in 2021. The doc, Gabe Mirkin, who originally came up with the RICE (rest, ice, compression, elevation) protocol retracted it 2014 after he came up with it in the 60s. Ice was still present in other temporary protocols, but was nuked for good in 2021.
Heat is advised as a first aid, but it's not a part of any modern recovery protocol.
