Has anyone actually noticed a difference in their physique/strength by skipping cardio after training? I had been doing cardio after training, but now I'm trying to keep the two separate.
>>76680270Yeah it puts you in starvation mode and doing legs steals the protein from upper body.>nuh uhBasically walking more than a few steps starts the process of your body thinking you need to traverse for a water source or hunt/trap an animal or look for berries its more outlandish to assume otherwise. You never noticed drinking less water ruins gains or that cutting makes your piss clear with less water or anything that lowers bmr?>im pissing out protein when i eat 100g of protein pwo and pwo?No i am not itd look foamy.
>>76680297>how do i stop losing gainsYou can walk on your hands, sprint everywhere, use a mobility scooter, or just only leave your home gym bedroom every few days and use a system like i have created to open the door for delivery and lasso in the food, i have my cashapp and email on the door so i can have them reset the apparatus and tie the food to my lasso. Tmaxxing is easy i just open the window and bask in the sun when its on the side where my room is. I scam for a living so i onoy really "have" to leave if my T is getting too low from lack of socializing which ill notice materializes in wanting to talk to people and being antsy and horny, its a defense mechanism more than a result of. And of course when i go out to fill up my socialization meter i am stationary with my legs most of the time and do dips on crutches or park my scooter as close to the door as possible. The only real issue is having enough carbs to survive the journey. But rest assured gains are better than ever and bitches know better than to reject me, i have already thrown the scooter at a few couples using the express lane and eaten them alive for the adrenachrome boost.
>>76680270Cardio actually increases gains, if you fond yourself lifting the same weight and regressing in weight just add some sprints 5x/wk and your lifts should improve across the board.
>>76680333Same, cardio increased my lifts significantly, much more than creatine. Mostly thanks to VO2 max increaseThe key is to do stage 4-5 cardio around 90% max HR for short periods. Easy stage 2-3 cardio may be good for health and weightloss but does nothing for lifting.
>>76680354Really? You might just be sleeping better i was being sarcastic. I actually used to run a ton and my gains went nowhere, whereas nowadays working on anything for a week gain size and strength(unless i keep hammering the muscle). But yeah having better cardio base is helpful for training especially if you go to the gym and have to condense everything into less than an hour. It probably helps gains too passively, but i prefer oly lifting/legs/low rest dropsets to get some cardio in.
>>76680362I only do 10-15min of very heavy cardio after each workout, usually on stairmaster. Helped me a lot and it's not long enough to mess with recovery, plus my average resting bpm went below 55.
>>76680365I was around 60 with 0 cardio besides lifting for months. Ive been less lazy with lifting and honestly though if you want way better gains id lower cardio as youll notice cardio makes you hungry and lower bmr, you gain fat easier and put on less muscle at least ime and im more worried about that then getting to a high level of cardio just to lose i when i quit for minimal performance increase. I wasnt doing high intensity as much but i notice staying satiated is a huge deal as never dipping calories throughout the day and maybe lifting extra to keep the surplus from being too high for needless fat gain(500+ over what sates my hunger for me and not entirely fat cals) is much harder when your body is consuming a ton of calories and producing lactic acid and cortisol(both destroy gains).Would you say it makes your pump bigger and recovery faster? Id definitely say being 7/10 conditioned is where i like to be without having to do cardio too often and reap 90% of the benefits.
