What happens if someone tries to max-effort flat out sprint and accelerate as fast as possible and maintains that maximum effort for a certain time? I assume for the first 10 seconds it would look pretty similar to a normal 100 meter race, but for 200m and 400m the runners intentionally do not go max at max intensity and max acceleration effort the entire race.Is there anywhere I can watch people literally try as hard as possible for say a minute the whole time to accelerate and run as fast as possible?what happens? what would it look like?
They get tired and slow down little sweaty probably thirsty maybe take a sup of water after and set down
That's what sprinters do unironically. Just try it out by yourself, eventually you'll just tire out due to muscle oxygen depletion and lactic acid buildup. Your body has defense mechanisms to prevent you from going full retard.
>>76683283Go to your local high school's track and field practices.
>>76683401Man, i met thru tinder a clinically retarded woman in her 40s who did track and field. That bitchs body was fucking amazing. Sadly, i didnt get to know her irl, she was not only retarded but paranoid as fuck too.
>>76683340sprinters get told to do things like "lengthen out" and focus on maintaining speed I'm talking about going flat out max effort the whole time even your muscles slow down from lactate and not having enough oxygen.if someone attempted to max effort for like 20 minutes straight, would it look like simply jogging at your VO2 max?
>>76683283Just look at any competion run. You seem schizophrenic, just saying.>sprinters get told to do things like "lengthen out" and focus on maintaining speedNot in actual competitions.
>>76683404Mmh im your case I would breed her and go to a "vacation" to colombia
>>76683283just watch a few 400m or 800m races. most athletes are dying in the home straight and would not be able to continue another 50m without losing control and falling over

>>76683283I look like this.
