and what is that supposed to do? u can't walk upright like this - head is always looking down, ALWAYS
carpal tunnel from clenching fists on weights? u don't work grip like that u want your palm almost opened for grip training
>it's for traps
it's not - u are tugging on traps like ropes stretched by craning your neck
>then what is for traps?
pictured - 2 light dumbbels, standing with best posture u can muster, shoulders straight up and hold them up, don't evengrip the dumbbels u're holding just let em rest in your palms
just meme that u do not know because u now know :D

The point of strongman exercises is to get strong. You need to lift HEAVY.

30 lbs each side isn't even enough for a proper warm-up, let alone a workout. I built some home-made farmer's walk weights that are ~33kg each, and can accommodate extra weight, so I can increase in 10kg or 20kg increments. At bare minimum, that's the kind of ballpark you should be aiming at, unless you're an absolute twink. Anything less than bodyweight isn't going to be effective at all at building strength.

Ignore the botfag
If you like them, keep doing them
Just try to progress over time
Some times try to carry a really heavy weight for short distance, and sometimes try to carry moderate weights for longer

Regardless, doing farmer's walk with 30lbs is the male equivalent of pic related.
It does fuck all.

Don't concern yourself with what is considered "decent" or "good".
Just load it up as heavy as you can handle and try to increase the weight regularly so you keep growing stronger
>>
>>76687070
Sore does not equal worked bot, it can also mean senslessly injured and i believe that's the cause here bot
>>76687031
Traps, clenching Ur fists is also bad 4 u

cringe. Bodyweight farmer's walks aren't a beginner exercise. Most beginners can't even deadlift their bodyweight. It may take a few months to get near to bodyweight farmer's walk at a minimum. Probably a year realistically.
>>76686996
Do dead hangs too to increase grip strength. Dumbbell farmers walks test your grip more. Use kettlebells to target traps and lats more. Trap bar targets traps and lats even more and are more stable, but that means they don't train your stabilisers enough
>>
>>76686996
Do farmers walks with about 80% of what you would DL for reps unless you want to have to walk a shitload to get anything out of them, keep your head up too. Ideally do them outside and incorporate slopes and uneven surfaces once your confident on flat ground.

>Bodyweight farmer's walks aren't a beginner exercise.
It's a lazy heuristic. Obviously people have vastly different body weights. You might be a skinny twink who only weighs 60kg or a fat 100kg couchpotato who has never lifted before.
Unless you're extremely overweight, doing a bodyweight farmer's walk isn't remotely advanced. But if your level of fitness is that bad then perhaps you should prioritize other exercises rather than a fringe, meme one.
>>
>>76686996
At least half your bodyweight, if you weigh 180 do 90s
>>
>>76687031
Post body bot :D or admit you're a dyel who's never touched a weight bot :D

adorable bot :D
>>76688334
yes bot, i have found quite recently that grip training can't be done with closed fist position, nor should u use any weight to avoid clenching your wrist flexion
i've been playing with this thing:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hb8SIrCsesk
set it to max width and using as intended - with bent elbow
slowly squeezing out numbers looking at readout alternating hands (5, 10 , 15 kgs etc.) and surprisingly i went very close to my max at the end

even more surprisingly golfer's elbow that i got holding dumbbell during curls (and clenching wrist flexion unwittingly) went away overnight :D

I was a stick in college, didn't even eat enough calories or protein because I was a broke retard just working out for mental health, and I was still doing twice that after a couple months. Just do more dawg. Your workout should deplete you of energy
>>
Don't listen to the faggot genetic deadend troglodite (>>76689821), OP
What you're doing is fine for a beginner to train flexors but,
-if you're actually consistent you'll need to increase the weight pretty soon
-you also need to train flexors
A bar with fat grips and elastic bands designed to train flexors is the combo

You did 30 pound farmer's walks.
>>
>>76686996
farmers walks don’t even start until you have half your body weight in each hand
>>
>>76686996
That's nearly double bodyweight for you since you are an indian, congratulations

If you can't take another step it's a good weight. If you have more in the tank it's too light.

I've noticed that the schitzobotfag posts when the poop and arsehole troll is posting. I assume it's just another facet of his mental illness.
