Very circumstantial, there is plenty of happy & fulfilled accomplished athletes out there as well.
It's just human nature, some people can be satisfied after accomplishing their life goal others won't be.
You can't make a broad generalization like that.

Nobody makes documentaries on that because it isn't interesting and the average person wants to see a successful person be miserable opposed to a successful person be happy.
