Had I been wasting my time?
Last couple of weeks I've been taking daily walks at t a normal pace. About 45 minutes a day, hitting 7,000 to 8,000 steps.
I don't sweat, my heart rate doesn't increase (or at least doesn't increase by a noticeable level).

Someone told me today that if my heart rate doesn't increase, then it's (mostly) a waste of time.

you're trying too hard to quantify shit when fitness is a vibes based activity. since you've started walking do you /feel/ better? do you /feel/ like you're healthier? if you're walking outside, just getting fresh air for 45 minutes is beneficial, among trees even moreso. just vibe it out bro
