To anons who done lasik, when did u get better? I wanted to get rid of my glasses it made by read up close really really good but seeing far which was ok before is blurry as fuck, i used to wear +5 on both eyes, im week post op, anyone dealt with that? i want to go back to the gym
>>76703763to follow up its was the lasik without blade but purely lasers
>>76703763just get contact lenses takes 10sec to put can keep it for the whole day costs like 1dollar a daylasik is too risky
Does anyone do LASIK anymore? SMILE has been the preferred option for years now, I got it in 2019. A lot less invasive with only a single cut with a laser on your eye and the recovery is literally one afternoon.
>>76703818>costs like 1dollar a dayare you a child? where the fuck are you getting this number from?
>>76703838its a different method, femtolasik
>>76703862i pay 30$ for 30 contacts, so it's 2 dollars a day
>>76703862buy in bulkyou get 1pc around 50cents to a dolllar depending on the correction and brandbut i guess tops it’s 2 dollar per dayplus you probably still gave days were you don’t need to wear them or just take glasses anyway lasik seems to be alright in lots of cases but it can easily fuck up your life permanently i wouldn’t risk it to be honestmost opticians/ surgeons who perform these still wear glasses is all you need to know
I did PRK because mountaineering and MMA. I kept losing contacts or couldn't see without glasses, so it had to be done. Took 3 weeks to get 20 20 vision. It was pretty bad for the first couple weeks because your eyes are so itchy, but it healed perfectly. No dry eyes, no issues at all. I did it about 4 years ago, and it was well worth the money. Even got the 0% apr care credit loan so I paid 4000 flat over 18 months.
>>76703763i could see perfect like 2 hours after my lasik surgery. are you saying you still have blurry vision a week after?
>>76704015that's over 700 dollars a year retardglasses cost 40-50 dollars and they last more than a year
You might've gotten botched, manCheck those Lasik suicide rates
>>76703763Better? I mean I could see better immediately but my eyes were really sensitive to the light. I think I had a few days off work, maybe wore glasses on the street and in bed for a few weeks. Don't remember when I could go back to the gym but it was a few weeks anyway...I'm really glad I did it even though I ended up with halos at night. But that's miles better than -4.5 & -4.75 24 hours a day
>>76703763Im getting lasik done in more 2 weeks (kek). Im trying to himbomaxx and every single woman ive fucked has told me she creamed herself whenever she saw me without glasses. I never really cared about wearing glasses, but im interested now not only on himbomaxxing but also i wanna enroll in a boxing gym. The only thing that pissed me off about myopia was having to take off my glasses to fuck bitches and not being able to properly see their bodies and faces while smashing them. Female boss and coworkers are way more excited about this surgery than me, actually.
>>76705466Its better today so i guess its improving
I don't know they gave me PRK in the military and I think it took a couple of weeks to fully recover
I did Lasik like 10 years ago and my vision was perfect right after surgery but I couldn't keep my eyes open due to light sensitivity that same day. That hypersensitivity went away after a couple of days. Now i see slightly better than 100%. Best money I EVER spent. Used to have +5.25/+4.75
>>76703763anybody else have problems with eye floaters?
>>76703763I had a friend get this and got fucked on disability for life stuck with his kids forever going blind. Can never drive again. I'm going to get contacts if anything.
