have you tried his programs? i have
i did his PPLUL
it started off alright but went to shit the last three weeks
had me doing 3 sets of 20 for lats followed by another 3 sets of 20 for lats AGAIN. got tired before i ever reached mechanical failure. dumped this shit and went back to how it was before the chicanery

Sets of 20? Unless you're training for endurance that makes no sense. His programs are retarded unrealistic bullshit that only roiders have any hope of succeeding with.

>IQ low enough to follow someone else's plan

look in the mirror, find weak parts, and design your routine to make up for those bad/worse parts instead of following a plan that's made for a bitch (3x20). there's this thing called plausibility.
>>

yeah, sets of 20. i was appalled when i saw it but said "hey fuck it, what do i know"
i ran two weeks and felt like i was only getting weaker, lactic acid build up was fucking me up WAY before the exercise ever got "hard"
most retarded i felt in the gym for a long time

The range for hypertrophy is 5-33 reps. It depends on the person and the muscle group.
I think OP was just being a pussy and not really trying.

The range for hypertrophy drops to 5-10 if you aren't a roidtranny

I wouldn't even do calf raises for 20 reps let alone lats. Lats works best at 8 reps
>>
>>76705632
I only clicked to see the ass but its meh. Fuck jeff and his roid tranny shit
>>
>>76705632
maybe you should try raising the weights again

Not something I would do. But I guess some guys are into that.

Is that his wife or gf why is he flaunting her ass like that also those shoes are WAY too big for him
>>
>>76706113
weird, how come i grew from 20 reps x 3 sets? Do you mean only advanced lifters need the 5-10 rep hypertrophy range?
>>
Rhetorical question as he is a leftist science religion Reddit phaggot, but how on earth is it possible to look so fucking gay with his size while taking a picture with a girl sticking her ass out. It’s truly a testament to how fucking gay and cringe he is
>>
What happened that you faggots wont shut up about this fag and that isreal fag. I decided to check out their youtube because of all this buzz even though i dont usually like youtube. Better stuff than any youtuber ive seen so far. Are you faggots advertising or what?

>bench 3x mp/btb/incline 1-2x and some shoulder isolation
>back if same day no home gym, 2-3x pull ups rows and cables
>rear delts need isolation top of rom rows are all i need
>arms 2-3x
>legs 2x if focusing and 1x1-2wk lower intensity if you wanna nail upper body for a week or 2 and just wanna lift legs to deload upper body
>core also takes a lot out of you, im doing it 2-3x maybe 2-3 sets
>also add chest hypertrophy, when chest is torqued focus more on delts as they recover in 1-2 days unless you had an insane shoulder day

Id just add whatever to a powerlifting program for bench incline mp btb, rear delts or forearms before another push set, and either do soke serious back then or later/next day. Id subtract some volume if not bulking, but try to go bttw to see how you recover first and work on heavy form and pump form for best yearly gains.these are times per week, trying out different rep and set schemes are useful but say my goal is flat bench. I like 3x3 rear delts then machines or weird variant 3x4-8. Apply that to whatever and tey to grow chest/delts first youll find every other muscle is less injury prone and easier to grow because of that alone.

>8 lifts
my philosophy is never more than 5 lifts a day, preferably 4. 3 can work well on a pure bro split. you can take longer rests and focus more on performance. you have very clear objectives when you go into the gym, your first 1-2 lifts are expected to be progressed, it's easy to program and you get familiar with the details of the lift and how it feels to push forward. doing 8 lifts with only a single set on one of them is a gigantic noob trap, there's no way some dyel redditor is going to be able to do any of these lifts with good effect or be able to gauge how many reps are in reserve especially on fucking 20 rep sets. when you go that high you bleed reps for subsequent sets very hard too vs 3-4 mins of rest in the 6-10 range, so average intensity is going to be an arbitrary shitfest.

here's how I'd set up a pull day
>deadlift (if no overlap with previous leg days etc)
>chin-up or pull-up
>row variation without lower back involvement
>curl variation
4 lifts, no frills or bullshit, 2-5 sets each. you'd alternate the row and pull-up pattern for every session to be able to express individual performance increase on each one.
