How can you even go to a fucking gym when EVERYONE has the ability to make his own home gym?
You simply need
>A bench ; There are a bunch of benchs on Amazon of 100-200 € that are absolutely fine and can allow you to progress for more than 10 years without difficulty (and no, you don't need a SUPER-PRO MEGA BENCH from Ironmaster or powerblocks that cost 700 €)
>One or two pair of adjustables dumbells (and once more, you don't need anything more than let say 40 kg/100 lb)
>A pull up and dips bar
And it's completely over, you have a home gym that take literally no place , that you can put anywhere and that you can move if you move out or anything
Everything cost probably less than 1.000 €/dollars
And once more, it's your own equipment, you can do whatever and decide to go into some kind of autism with EXTRA premium shit if you like, but the things described above are more than enough to be in better shape than 99% of all the normies
>>
Im lucky i live with my dad. If i lived in an apartment i wouldnt have room. Trying to play my cards right so i can get a good place when i move out of here.
>>
>>76706856
I like to keep the gym at the gym and not have this be some all consuming lifestyle.
>>
>>76706948
Investing in your own equipment and being able to exercise whenever you want is some kind of "all consuming lifestyle"?
>>
>>76706856
based and met pilled
>>
That's basically what I've done
Pull Up/Dip power tower (80 euro), adjustable dumbbells (300 euro) and a yoga mat
Will get a bench eventually
It's so much easier for me to actually exercise consistently without having the friction of driving to the gym first, changing, having to contend equipment with a hundred people, trying to find the hours with the least chaos etc etc...
Still just a newbie but I have no doubt this will be enough for quite a while
>>
>>76707108
based fren
I don't know where you're from but you have absolutely great bench on amazon, look at the PAZIO brand, basically everything that has 4.5 stars and more is fine
If you have some Decathlon near you you can also check their adjustable pro bench that is 150 € here
>>
>>76707154
I do have a decathlon near me, am mostly waiting on the bench because of really tight space constraints
Also realistically it wouldn't immediately add much to my routine
Still looking for the perfect program for my limited gear, currently doing a self made one

Because I'd rather go to a gym
>>
>>76707169
Realistically the only exercises that you can't do are those that require a bench, but with what you have you can already do almost everything
>Pull/chin up
>Dips where you can change a bit the position of your chest to emphasize more the triceps or chest
>Dumbells curl, lateral raise, standing press with the dumbells
>>
>>76707171
>Because I'd rather go to a gym
this, no cute trannies at home
>>
>>76707202
Kill yourself mentally heal freak
>>
>>76706856
Why? You can't put a home gym in a small apartment, means you have higher housing costs. And a home gym without at least a powerrack is worthless. I'd rather keep going to my gym, which has high quality equipment and is full of awesome people who have your back.
>>
>>76707205
You can "work out" at home and get somewhat fit. You go to gyms to meet black 6'2 trannies with a nice thick ass, very feminine.
>>
if any of you euro dyels decides to buy one of decathlon's quick install pull-up bars with locking mechanism, make sure to buy the longer version (100cm), even if the short one also fits your space, because the grip area on the short one feels too short and I personally don't like how my hands and elbows get positioned when I use it
>>
>>76706856
I've noticed I am way more consistent and go harder with my training ever since I got a home gym.
There's no commute and I can be as loud and disgusting as I want without getting stares from the cardio bunnies. Also playing my own loud ass music is another plus.

All I have is a bench, barbell up to 80 kg, two sets of dumbbells 10 and 22,5 kg and small stuff like rubber bands and an ab roller. There's a calisthenics park nearby so I go there sometimes too.

However I'm lucky to live in a house. You can't pull off yelling like a madman, dropping dumbbells and blasting the Doom soundtrack in an appartment building.
>>
>>76706856
I don't have any room in my house, the garage is absolutely full to the brim with random bullshit of my father's, my room already has a bunch of fitness stuff and plants but I just don't have space for the full power rack and barbell and plates
>>
>>76707225
>You can't put a home gym appartment
Unless you live in fucking 9 square inch you totally can put a bench, two adjustable dumbells and dips bars in a corner without issue, especially if you have a foldable bench
>YOU NEED A POWER RACK
You're retarded, kill yourself
>>
>>76707304
>Full rack and 1000 lb of plates
Yeah, it's a good thing that nobody told you to buy that retard, like I said in the OP you don't need a stupid rack that take half of your room or X amount of retarded olympic weight plates weighed with insane precision
>>
>>76706856
Even if I could afford the cheapest gym membership, I wouldn't have the patience to drive every other day to a gym and possibly wait for equipment to be free.
>>
Too hard to move. If you’ve never moved before or never need to move a home gym is peak but if you need to move it’s misery
>>
>>76707018
There's two kinds of homegymers:
People who do stupidly overcomplicated routines that eat up hours a day and
fragile narcissists who fear criticism and seeing people who do better than them. Probably even horrified of the men's locker room.

Having a bench in your garage doesn't make it home gym.
>>
>>76707366
What? If I needed to move out even tomorrow my equipment (bench, adjustable dumbbells, dips&pull up bars) it would be probably the least anoying things to put in the truck
>>
>>76706856
>adjustable dumbbells
>yoga mat to not fuck up the floor
>cheapo adjustable bench from decathlon
>walking pad for cardio
I have this and i dont miss the gym at all. I can even fuck my shit up way further and fall exhausted on my bed in 1 second than going to the gym.
>>
>>76706856
the gym is a "third space", it's important for mental health to spend time in places outside of home and work
>>
>>76707405
I just think that a dips&pull up bar would be great addition, both don't really take much space
>>
>>76707453
>YOU NEED TO BE AROUND EKING NIGGERS AND POO IN ORDER TO HAVE A GOOD MENTAL HEALTH(tm) GOY!!!
Na thanks

>>
>>76707366
1. how often do you move?
2. you hire people to move your shit when you move
>>
>>76706856
because I'm not afraid to leave the house and talk to people.
In fact I enjoy it, you shut in incel loser
>>
>>76707517
>In fact I enjoy commuting, waiting for equipments, driving back, not being able to superset many things etc etc
Yeah yeah we perfectly know that you're a nigger, nigger
>>
>>76707454
Im desperate for equipment to do pullups, i love them, but my room is tiny and i dont wanna fuck the door frame with a pullup bar. A pullup tower would take too much space at the base and id like to keep all of my toes intact. Im doing pullovers to cope with being a latcel
>>
>>76707345
But the gym costs 20 bucks a month and has literally everything I might want to use and I don’t have to fill my apartment with a bunch of shit.
>>
>>76706856
i got two 40kg adjustable dumbells from temu for like 30quid lol
bargain, they are good too.
i dont use them much though i like going TO the gym
>>
>>76707586
How desperate? Hang that right from the ceiling. Ceilings are usually just drywall and cheap white paint, so they're easy to fix later. Make sure you hit joists properly with some good anchors. Or if you have access, get in the attic and build some good structure between joists to anchor through.

t. Hung a porch swing this way and it's still going strong 10 years later.
>>
>>76707586
Try some variation of inverted row.
>>
>>76707366
Wouldnt be hard to move if you used your equipment.
>>
>>76707478
its just more niggers
>>
>>76707473
Post a real pic with post number in the pic. None of this fake shit where you draw a purple dot in the image trying to invalidate image search.
>>
To any autistic anons:
Finance whatever gym equipment you want at the exact rate you pay for your gym membership right now and it's like a rent to own contract.
Then pay it off much faster than that because you don't like jews.
>>
I just ordered an Ironmaster bench Pro V2 with the dips and pull up attachment
590 €

Don't most apartments have gyms?
>>
>>76706856
Are people afraid to put their equipment outside? I bought a bench almost two decades ago. It's been out under shade for a decade and in the sun for five years and only looks faded, no tears or anything.
>>
My gym has a negligible monthly membership fee and is a less than 10 minute drive with traffic. I’m also kind of hurting for space at my duplex. I’d like to have a decent home gym set up eventually thoughever, if I’m ever a busy dad or some shit.

Im european and i live in a brick building but i dont trust wall mounted pullup stations. I took a look at the decathlon app and the best option is some foldable pullup/dip/bench/squat station but its like 300 euros and i dont wanna spend that much money on just doing pullups, the rest of the functions are cool but i dont have a barbell to take full advantage of it.
>>76707621
Same problem, i dont own a barbell and i dont have appropiate furniture to do it. Also, i want a fully blown pullup, inverted rows dont have the same effect and i think db pullovers would be more efficient
>>
>>76708036
Whats living in a brick building like anon? Im curious
>>
>>76707355
well I have 4 kettlebells, a back extension, a sandbag, a couple dumbbells, pull up bar and a few small dumbbells all at home but that's far from a full gym
so I have a gym membership because I want to do barbell powerlifting, that is my choice

I'm the only one of my siblings who visits often, so if anything happens to them the house is in my name.
I just hate thinking about that and having to clean out their house.
>>
>>76708050
well it's a lot like living in any other building except the walls are made out of brick
>>
>>76706856
A bench is one of the only things you should never cheap out on. If it fails you are fucked.
Adjustable dumbbells are the single most expensive thing you will likely buy for your home gym, especially for a pair that goes up to 100lbs (very few do).
>>
I'm wondering if I could construct a home gym in my garage AND build it compact enough to easily move aside whenever I need to park my car (only during the snowy months).
Anyone tried that?
>>
>>76707373
What the fuck do you think a home gym is you retarded troglodyte? A full service 14,000 sq ft facility behind your 2 bedroom house?
You speak extremely confidently for the colossal retard you are.

I am getting great results from said home gym and T as well. Has transformed me. Still adding muscle and losing weight as well.
>feels good
>>
>>76707366
Packing up my home gym was easy as fuck. Unless you're a rich fag with a shitload of machines I guess it would be hard but a power rack is easily taken apart and weights/barbells you can tetris in the moving truck.

the last two apartments I lived in that had a "gym" was a couple of very light dumbbells, a derelict cable machine, and a couple of treadmills. it was enough to do something but it was nowhere near what you could do at a mid-tier gym in town.
>>
>>76706856
What are you doing for legs? You can never use progressive overload for gains. If you want a real home gym you're easily looking at 1k minimum for a rack, barbell, and bench. Weights you can get lucky at garage sales so I'll exclude those
>>
I just have a 30kg weight vest that I do push ups with using a bar to get as low as possible. Have a pair of heavy 20kg dumbbells and one grip thingy and that's all. Gonna buy a better set once I get my first salary in February. For me eating plenty is the current challenge.
>>
This is all you truly need.

>inb4 how do you train legs?
Get a heavier kettlebell, faggot. They go all the way to 200lbs.
