Same issues. I started doing cable chest press. The machine I use has a pad to put your ass against, and you just lean forward and let the pecs do all the work. Much better development than bench.

That doesn’t even make sense. If your triceps are stronger than your pecs, then they will never be the limiting factor on your lifts. If you’re going to failure, your pecs should always give out before the triceps if your triceps are indeed much stronger than your pecs

Anyone using full stack for tricep pushdowns is almost always doing shit form, using their shoulders and letting the stack smash down at the end. If you have 20+ inch arms then fair enough, otherwise I think you're one of these douches.

Ok? That doesn't mean that shit form doesn't exist. Squatmornings are shit form, crossfit "pullups" are shit form, trying to do pushdowns with tree the weight your triceps can actually handle and is shit form. There's always "that guy" in the gym doing this, usual a flabby boomer or delusional dyel, using too much weight, grunting and smashing the weight stack and generally embarrassing themselves.

don't let it go all the way up, otherwise you start initiating incorrectly. just have elbows pinned to your sides like a hinge
also it doesn't hit the long head of the triceps very hard so you need at least one other exercise to compliment it, like skull crushers, though that's more difficult form to explain
