Most people don’t realize food companies can legally be off by up to 20 percent on their nutrition labels. That “200 calorie” protein bar might be 240 or 160 and still be labeled as accurate. They also round down small numbers to zero, so your “0g fat” spray or “low carb” snack isn’t really zero anything.
But sure, keep wondering why your “perfect macros” aren’t adding up.

hidden variability of CO is much more an issue than nutrition labels, though. Non-exercise activity thermogenesis (NEAT), fiber causing more calories to be excreted, hormones affecting energy storage, exercise timing affecting those hormones, etc. Your body's not a machine but if not paying attention to CI already hasn't worked for you, you've gotta start paying attention.
