>>76734271Do you take drugs, alcohol, or melatonin?Have a cat? Clean your sheets?
>>76734271Probly there's some1 in ur room waking u. Was 4me
>>76734276melatonin yes. i have delayed sleep thingy. has worked my entire life. this thing has been the last few weeks.cats? got 3 that i help take care of right now but that right now has been 3 years. >>76734277there's nobody hiding in my walls
>>76734271could just be stressbut just to be sure stay off screens 1-2 hours before bed, try to do something relaxing and keep the lights in your environment low as well
>>76734284Ah, for some reason melatonin makes me wake up after five hours. And my cat's need to go outside changes occasionally. Whether it be sunrise or someone outsideThat's all I got, good luck
>>76734291yeah i have heard such things with melatonin too. i'll try halving the dose and see if anything changes. to try the same thing over and over expecting things is madness.got any pics of your cats? >>76734287stress might be it. not impossible actually since it has increased at work as of recently.
>>76734276NTA but I wake up at 3, 4, or 5AM and none of these are issues
>>76734271Happens to me at least once every two weeks. If I go to bed before midnight then I can't sleep through. I usually wake at around 1am.
>>76734271Probably related to blood sugar spiking in the middle of the night.Blood sugar and body temp are related, and high body temp is what causes you to wake up.Leave more time between eating and sleeping, eat less high glycemic foods during the day.Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals like PFAS can also throw someone's blood sugar out if whack, (which could explain all the fatties these days). But I'd try eating dinner earlier and laying off the candy before trying to purge EDC's from your life.
>>76734271Sounds like Littlefoot
>>76734555last meal is 18:00 only perhaps? i sometimes end up eating at 1900 or 2000 desu
I wake up to piss every night(kinda on purpose, I drink enough water just before bad to wake up precisely after two sleep cycles) but I fall asleep immediately when my head hits the pillow againI use melatonin, have been for yearsconsider earplugs, I used to get woken up by noises that I didn't even register(stuff like, water hammer in the pipes for example)blackout blinds also help but lessand yeah stress fucks with your sleep big time, so does alcohol
>>76734271just go back to sleep brohow hard can it be?
>>76734555Not OP but I finish dinner early - roughly 5:30 cst lately - and don't go to bed for 5 to 6 hours later and still have this problem. Meals aren't carb-heavy either and it's only 3 a day at a deficit so I'm not sure that's the issue
Eerie. Started happening to me not long ago. 2:30 am +-10 mins every single time.
>>76734271Same problem, for years.
>>76734314sorry redditor but YTA
>>76734271I got middle aged and this happened to meDoctor prescribed me hydroxyzine to stay asleepYou should fuck around and find out what the minimum effective dose is for you
>>76735439can't I just use alternative methods before resorting to chemicals? like green tea or getting brutally sodomized before sleep
For me it was stress and silent acid reflux caused by stress. Try getting a wedge pillow (may need a few nights to get used to it) and lowest dose acid reflux medication.
>>767342843 cats? You're a disgusting sub human. Go clean your fucking room.
>>76734271Your brain probably wants you to do something. If your brain insists on this, punish it by taking a shower, doing pushups to failure, ect. If you stress your body out enough, your brain will give in because your brain likes NOT being stressed. If you force it into stress with its habits, it will quickly change. You have to discipline your mind or it will take over you. Example: obese people, habitual cigarette smokers, autists, ect. Yes, autism in some cases can be stressed out of someone and it doesn't have to be in a judgemental way, discipline does not mean abuse. TLDR kick your brains ass back if it keeps up with the bullshit. Wake me up? Ok, no masturbation for a week and zero carbs.
>>76735822Getting off of them would reveal the underlying thing that is causing you to be on them, allowing you to make progress on fixing or at least learning to coexist with it, without the use of external tools.
>>76735447I did basically all the sleep hygiene stuff and while it all helped, I still had to give up and get medicated
>>76735822Oh my fucking God yes please post more women to gawk at between my goon sessions and switching between God trannies and shit posting on fit
>>76734271I miss this lil nigga like you wouldn't believe.
>>76734271>>76734314I've had the same problem over the last month, but I'm back at school taking some hard classes and stressed out.Last week I bought some diphenhydramine as a sleep aid. It's helped but I should probably take it earlier.
>>76735490>Yes, autism in some cases can be stressed out of someone and it doesn't have to be in a judgemental way, discipline does not mean abuse. Reminds me of this. Very interesting stuff.
>>76735472i'm a farmer anon. no house is complete without a bunch of cats. they also get rid of mice which is nice. well except for when they drop it at my bedroom door.
>>76734271i wake up 4-5 times a night to peek, despite not drinking water since 19:00, usually feel underslept and only do junk volume, because i dont have the energy to push myself. exercising near sleep hours makes it even worse.
>>76734271It's normal. Pre-industrial people used to wake up for a couple of hours at 2am. Unless you feel tired all day.
Trensomnia
I’ll contribute just because I had this ultra bad for years and tried everything; including trazodone which I can't tolerate feeling like a zombie the next dayHere’s what eventually worked 90%;-sleep hygiene, go to bed same time every night, wake up same time every day-dark room, fan outside the room for white noise-last meal is 2 hours before bedtime, balanced protein fat and carbs -no liquids for 2 hours before bedSupplements:-1g of magnesium glycinate 2 hours before bed, with 400mg of L-theanine-0.5mg of melatonin and 25mg cbd 1 hour before bed-another 400mg of L-theanine and 600mg of phosphatidylserine just before lying down, swallowed with one mouthful of water That’s 800mg theanine total, it’s a lot. Normal dose is 100-200, and 600 phosphatidyl serine is a lot, but the combo of these help you stay asleep and regulate gaba pathways and shit and stop you having cortisol spikes in the night which wake you upI still wake up a number of times in the night, but the amount of time I’m awake for is a lot less with this stack, without this I would wake 3 or 4 hours into the night and not be able to get back to sleep, the theanine turns my brain off
>>76734271What time do you train? You will still be amped up from training if you go to the gym in the evening
>>76734271>i dont think i have sleep apnea. It the most likely diagnosis. I think I have it...I'm not fat though. I wake up after 4h, stay in bed browsing /fit/ for 3h or listen to some music and then I sleep for another 2-3h. I wish it wouldn't break in two parts because the total duration is a bit big.
