I go to Bench Press after hearing about that wtf effect kettlebells have. could hardly do sets of 8-12 at 80% of body weight.Did a mat pilates class and it kicked my ass. But I did basically double the weight on my squat and found I could do close to my usual 8x5 so I think I may underrate how much I can do, still isn't my body weight though

I do 'progressive overload' by adding 1 rep to each series workout to workout + 25s times rest, going to failure, cycling between reduced ROM@fast pace, full ROM@normal pace up to 6×10+ and AMRAP full ROM@fast pace. It's slow but works for me. If I wanted to get bigger I'd take creatine and go to the gym but it's just to make up for sedentarity. Whatever (small) gains I make are bonus.
